  1. Looked for sewer smell that I have and couldn’t find anything on it. I smell a sewer smell in my living room once in awhile. Below my tv is where some plumbing pipes are. I never smell it in my bathroom, just near tv. It is not the following: any sinks or where the slide out movable pipe, toilet. There is a black pipe with a cap on top could it come from there (vent?) only happens once in awhile mabey 1 or 2 times a month. My tanks are clean. I over flush them. It is odd to me John F 2009 Monaco Camelot kfq 42’

  15. Just want to get some input on 2 questions 1 does most people who have aqua hot system keep the diesel burner on with electric on all the time or only use diesel when needed? 2 if I leave the electric status on when not plugged in to 50 amp service does the inverter supply electric to the aqua hot and drain my batteries? 3 (one more) do most people use the back light system at night or day does it drain batteries when not plug into shore power just wondering? 17. This is John f again. I have a dumb question? Maybe two. how do you cut them and how do you mount them. My ballast are tucked behind the lights. Do I need to remove them or can I splice into the wire that feed the lights. Is there a video on how to change to led.
  18. My tv reception is great until I turn on my flourcent ceiling lights. The reception is very week on the tv screen when ceiling lights are on. Does anyone know why this happens? I have a regular T antenna. John 2009 Monaco Camelot kfq
  19. Thanks for the information. I went to a RV service in Jacksonville and they told me I needed a Madallion instrument module. I takes 8 weeks to manufacture it for $808. I am waiting for it, should be ready by Jan 25. I am at Camp Blanding for the time. I hope this is my problem. The mechanic did talk to Madallion. Madallion does not answer their phones, I called them and left messages more than 30 times. Finally I pressed their emergency number which was 400. I asked why they won’t answer their phones and I got no response (she wouldn’t tell me) so if anyone needs to contact them use the 400 number and you might get an employee on the phone and tell them you are stranded and see if they will transfer you to a tech or sales. Only way you can talk to them otherwise you are out of luck.
  20. I have been at a RV repair shop for 2 days and they can’t find why my gages don’t work 1. Took my steering and ignition key. Can’t find a replacement ignition switch. Monaco said I need to replace the whole steering column 2. I have unhooked all neg battery post and that did nothing. 3. They took the four pin plug and tested it and I am only getting 10 volts to the dash instrument panel. The tech did not know if this should read 12 volts or 10volts might be too much??? 3. Trying to contact medallion but no returned calls (2 days trying) only get voice mail. No return calls. Don’t know why they don’t return calls. 3. if I take the fuse out 5amp and put it back in and turn the key the gages work for 5 to 10 seconds and turn off. does anybody tell me what to do. I don’t know how qualified this tech is. Don’t know what he is doing to try to fix it but it is going on 3 days tomorrow Big Question: If he cannot fix it do I have to pay any amount for his service!!!!!! Hope not but I need guidance on this. Have a funny feeling I am getting rip off. john f 2009 Camelot kfq please advise thank you for all the info you supplied so far on ingnition problem
  21. How do I fabricated a new ground and where do I do this and where is the negative wire that I need to fabricate? I believe I found my problem it is the ignition key.
