  1. As an FYI, I renewed with Coach-Net and they did offer a renewal discount. I've utilized their tech support numerous times and was very pleased. They seem to have experienced and knowledgeable folks that are trained in phone support. The one time I needed a tow I was impressed with the fact the company tracked down a low boy set up and repair facility to get me back on the road. There is obviously no perfect service but I feel better about spending my money after reading the comments on this post. Thank you.
  2. Thank you all. I've concluded that there is no perfect solution and that the issues and limitations lie in the human interaction (follow through) and coverage options. I am somewhat dissatisfied in the number of instances where the companies failed to stay in touch until the issue is resolved. One item that is important to me is the delivery and replacement of a damaged tire while on the road. Thanks again for all of your comments. Safe travels.
  3. It's time for me to renew my emergency roadside service. I've used Coach*Net for years but they have really increased the price. I am a member of FMCA and see that they have a service offering as well. It's called SafeRide RV Club. I can't find out much about them online. Does anyone here any information?
  4. I've resolved the issue. Tested the control box located in the bedroom closet to ensure proper ground and replaced fuses with fresh even though they appeared good. I performed a complete power shut down starting at the pedestal. Still nothing at the switch. I removed the switch and yes it snaps off just before you expect it to break. I used contact cleaner on all of the connections and worked the connector a few times to make sure I made a good connection. I tested the switch and the slide works as well as all of the other buttons on the switch. I am confident it was the connections at the switch however I am glad that I performed the other tasks, I learned a lot. I still have a new hydraulic leak that is in the passenger side of the fuel bay but that should be easier to find and repair than the electrical issue. Thanks for all of the help.
  5. Good morning, no love yet but continue to work the issue. The snow finished melting yesterday and I found hydraulic fluid on the ground left of the steps under the fuel bay. I broke something. The genset opens and closes normally. I tried the disco switch in the battery compartment without luck. I will use the butter knife on the switch plate worst case it will crack and I purchase a new one. The multiplex switch feels loose to me but it could be my imagination wishing for a loose connection. I have 2 weeks before I pull out and have my cabin here so all is not bad. I really appreciate everyone on this board providing knowledgable advice. It's looking like another beautiful day. Great suggestion. I have some and will give it a try.
  6. How do I remove the trim plate to access the multiplex switch?
  7. I checked the modules and changed the fuses. This morning I shut power at the pedestal then disconnected the chassis and coach batteries at the battery compartment. I was hoping that doing so would restore the multiplex switch. No change.
  8. Coach Net is on my call list for Monday. I am leaving here on October 1st so I have some time to get this fixed. I need to locate a good repair facility in New Mexico or Arizona since that is where I am headed in October.
  9. I need a quality RV mechanic to diagnose and repair my LR slide. It looks to be both electrical since the multiplex switchboard isn't responding and hydraulic. I am in Creede Colorado and the park closes at the end of the month. I have one slide in and one slide out. Recommendations are appreciated.
  10. I shut off power at the pedestal and the the disconnect switches. The multiplex switch buttons remain dead. How does a person remove the cover to the switch so I can check the connection. Is there another way to reset the switch board? I know that it will light up when I engage the master switch from the bedroom that illuminates all switches in the coach. It's the 10 button switch that doesn't respond when any button is pressed. I need to find a solution because it controls my front slides. I have one slide stuck in and one stuck out. I have 2 weeks before the park closes to resolve my problem. Thanks Pat 2007 Monaco Executive

  12. That's good to know about the bedroom. The panel lights up when I activate the master switch from the bedroom however none of the buttons on the lower panel on the picture are functioning. Bob, as best I could but suspect some ice prevented it closing completely. It is closed now. Do you have any advice on getting it open or restoring function to the control pad? 14. I closed my driver side slides during a snow storm here in Colorado. My front driver side failed to close completely at first. I now have a slide that does not extend. I have a control panel, bottom control pad in picture, that has no buttons responding at all. I know that the pump is functioning because I am able to extend the driver side bedroom slide. I don't know where to start in diagnosing and repairing the issue. I have never removed a button panel and don't want to break it. Advise and instruction on where to begin my trouble shooting and how to remove the cover from the button control panel is appreciated. I attached photos for reference. Patrick B 2007 Monaco Executive
  15. Thank you for the information . I purchased the replacement part specified but have not installed it yet. The problem has not happened again so I am holding on to the part.
  16. I appreciate the response. I turned the unit off while doing my research and turned it back on a while ago and it is blowing cold like nothing happened. Since it's a $55 part I am ordering it for my spare. I thought it was universal but wasn't sure. Now if the temperature outside would drop I would be happy. I am completing some therapy so I can't go to my Colorado lot for at least 3 weeks. Thanks again. Patrick
  17. I saw your info on the solenoid in a previous post. My question is whether it is a universal part used by all the units or is the part specific to model? Thanks
  18. Would this possible issue exist with the Dometic 630516-331, 15,000BTU , installed in my 2007 Monaco Executive? Everything was working fine on my 3 unites until this afternoon. My bedroom unit started blowing hot after stopping and then starting back up. I need to locate a solution ASAP since I am in "Detention" in Arizona and it hit 100 degree today. I am stick here at least 2 more weeks before heading to Colorado. Thanks Patrick 2007 Monaco Executive IV Sandia
