  1. I have driven that route many times.  The grade down from Julian is pretty tough.  I would suggest this alternate route which is much better IMO and avoids the climb up to Julian and down from Julian.

When you get to Santa Isabelle go left on 79 I think it is and go several miles to S-2.  Go right on S-2 and that connects with 78 after the grade from Julian.  Go left on 78 to Ocotillo Wells.

This is a much better route.

The engine number says it all. Go look for this data tag attached to the engine. Then you will know for sure.

If the seller has the original file box that came with the coach, there should be a build sheet in it listing the part numbers and serial numbers of each component.

Sometimes that sheet is pasted to the inside of one of the cabinet doors.

Do drive that or is it a show engine compartment.  Disgustingly  clean and shinny. (:o)LOL

The shower diverter does not allow me to turn the knob to adjust water temperature.

Have taken it apart an still not sure how it works.

Need advice and what to do to get it to function.

    Maybe a P/N and manufacturer.

    Thanks

  4. That is the way I would like to do it as the New Sanicon is already wired through the old switch to the switch box on the new sanicon.

Can you provide more detailed instructions on how to do this?

My electrical abilities while limited are not nonexistent.

Is it a matter of changing the VF4-1511 relay that is currently there with a different relay?

If so is there a part number for a replacement relay.

    Thanks

    Ron

  5. Yep have something that looks like that in the rear electric bay.

So the consensus is that the 12ga wire will not carry the load for more or less 16'.

Guess I will have to snake a number 10 and total by pass the old switch set up.

    Thanks

So due to failure of original Sanicon have replaced with a Sanicon 600.

It has worked fine but today I was dumping and flushing tanks and it suddenly quit.

Pretty sure have blown a fuse or tripped a circuit breaker.

So after looking in the usual places and som unusual places have not been able to locate it.

    Need help identifying location.

    Thanks

  7. So being on here for many years I was here when the PP was the system of choice.

At the  time I added the PP system 2007 or 2008 Bill D was the guru.  He had a located an antenna $10 or so with i believe better gain the the OEM antenna.

Unfortunately I can not locate the receipt or the part number for this antenna.  I purchased it from a radio supply store.

I  searched the files for any info but maybe after all this time the posts on this have disappeared.

Maybe another old timer has the info.

I will try to post a picture.

Long story short this antenna works great with no booster or cable run needed.

I have my receiver mounted in diver side window.

  8. I had Source do mine earlier this year.

CAC was leaking and decided to do both CAC and radiator, also had them do the wax valve.

Mine was getting up to 225 both engine and trans.

Made a big difference, not cheap but IMO needed to be done.  Unless outside air is 95-100 climbing grades in lower gears rarely see 210 in either engine or trans.
