If your front and rear run bays still have stickers identifying the fuses and relays positions, you might start by locating a relay for a non-working circuit, then finding a working circuit with a matching relay.  Swap them.  That should tell you if it's the relay, or not.  Then fuses (or maybe test/replace those first...

I found at one point that the trailer plug on the MH was cracked and shorting out in weird ways affecting brake and tail lights.  So a quick inspection for physical and electrical integrity of the plug my be worthwhile.

I'm not half the technician of others here, so I'll leave the wiring trace and VOM measuring suggestions to the experts.

Thanks Steve for the suggestion. I carry a spare relay and I had a friend help me switch out the relays but we couldn’t find a problem with the relays. All my relays in front electric bay are labeled except one so don’t know what it does. All the relays in the rear electric bay are labeled except one. I wonder why they didn’t label all ???  I will check tge trailer plug. Have a very Metty Christmas 🤶

Use the above link.  Scroll down and download the 2003 Dynasty wiring diagrams.  241 pages, chocked full of all you need to know.  There are relays that send out the signals. These relays are operated by several modes.  The ICC switch off your Smart Wheel is working.  Trace the wiring back to the Clearance Marker Relay.  Then see what Other signal is coming to the relay.  There is an issue between your headlight switch and the relays.  May be (probably) a bad connection on a multipin harness connector.  Pulling apart or disconnecting and then firmly reseating works. If you follow the Smart Wheel connector check the harnesses and such.  Same for the harness going from the Headlight switch.

The trick of these drawings is to identify the “harness” and connector or plug number.  Then the specific wire or pin number.  There will probably be several prints and you sort of go back and forth and trace the circuits.  The fourth print is a start….then review the kist ot titles of the drawings and sort through them.

Thanks Tom for the the download link. I have the original wiring diagram book that came with the coach. My problem is I don’t have the skills to understand the wiring diagram but I have a friend or two that may be able to assist. I will continue to work to find the issue. Thank you so much for your assistance.

  3. Replaced the headlight switch, but unfortunately that didn’t fix the issue. If I push the ICC switch (think that is what it is called) the marker lights and taillights come on.   Could it be the solenoid in the driver side rear run bay ?  I replaced the two on the curb side rear run bay and that fixed my 12 volt light problem.  Thanks for any suggestions.

  4. Ok thanks so much for the information. I discovered that if I push the smart wheel button above the wiper control that all the marker lights and the taillights come on. So I guess that indicates that the smart wheel control box must be ok. I’m hoping that this means that the light switch is the issue. I will go to Napa and try to get new switch. Thanks to all for assistance!!!

  5. I have been having an issue with my pull out light switch for some time. When I pull it on at times I need to wiggle the pull out stem to get headlights to turn on. I’m wondering if the switch could also be to cause of my lack of taillights and marker lights. I’m thinking I need to replace the pull out switch. Can anyone tell me the part umber and where I can get a new headlight switch?

I’m in Wisconsin and when we head west I’m going to stop in New Hampton, Iowa and take to coach to TriMark and have them help me decide what I need to replace the door handle.

We stopped at New Hampton, Ia at the TriMark factory and they were very helpful and had what I needed to repair my entry door handle. I first went to the HQ building and they sent me to Service & Replacement Parts. Phone number 800-431-8616. The person I talked with said she needed a photo of inside door mechanism. See attached . It turned out that my part number was 22665-02. Installed the new handle and we are back to not having to crawl in the window after my wife closes the door 😁. It was sure nice to find a Monaco supplier still in business.

  7. Tom I purchased a Roadmaster receiver spare carrier for trip to AK. It worked fine and never needed the spare thank goodness. I’m not going back to Alaska and I know you are a long ways from Cheyenne Wy, but if you were ever passing through this way I would just give you the unit. I would rather have someone getting some good out of it rather than sitting in my barn taking up space.

Thanks for your good advice. On TriMark web site they say that 13438-04 is no longer available. RV Parts Center.com say that TriMark 030-1400 is a replacement for the 13438-04 so I will call TriMark next week to see if that new number will fit my door.

  9. It did check the wires going into the smart wheel control box and they are good. A number of years ago I replaced the wires going into the smart wheel control box with larger gauge wire as the wires that Monaco used were not large enough to carry the current and they melted the plug. Still don’t have taillights. Still on the road traveling only in day time. When I get home I will figure out what is going on. Thanks

  10. Pulling into Augusta, MT, we smelled fuel and we were lucky that this happened as we were pulling into town, as the roads were narrow with barely a shoulder.  There was a campground at the edge of Augusta in front of which we parked for the day!  We found the fuel leak.  Fortune led me to call  a mobile repair guy in Great Falls MT.  Karl’s business is Diesel Fever, phone 406-781-6898 and I recommend him to the sky!   It was 6pm when he arrived and by 8 we were back on the road to Helena!  I pulled the headlights switch and had headlights, but no taillights or marker lights. Any ideas on getting taillights and marker lights working?  Thanks

  11. Tom I found the problem was in my new whole house charcoal filter was directional and I had put it wrong. It would help if the manufacturer would put an up arrow on the filter. Anyway the charcoal had come out of the filter cartridge and the loose charcoal was stopping the water flow. Think I have it fixed now. Thanks IMG_8869.thumb.jpeg.c63c1a200c2fcb883146c80f4ceaf861.jpegIMG_8871.thumb.jpeg.d802a807e5e6cdd7d83fd398242f09eb.jpeg

  12. They were ifilter. I’m thinking it may have been my error putting the charcoal filter upside down?  Don’t think there was any indication on which end was up so not sure. I’m going to contact the company and check with them. Glad it wasn’t a bigger issue.

  13. I found my problem 😁😁. Last winter temp got to -5 and my AquaHot burner stopped working and the original blue filter canisters broke, couldn’t believe it!!  I ordered a clear iFilters whole house filter, but it turns out the charcoal filter must not be designed to be moble as I just looked at the filter canisters and the charcoal was 1/2 full of loose charcoal which stopped to flow of water. Took the filter and put in my winterizer bypass pipe and it seems to be good to go😃😃
