All the automatic things are fine until the auto leaves the mantic. I replaced mine with a manual toilet. One less thing to worry about for a full timer. Chuck B

That was over a decade ago. Not many of us are still around to try to give the correct information. Chuck B

One needs to remember that in 2002/3 Monaco made several different Windsor's on different chassis'. That was determined by where the Windsor was assembled, in Elkhart or Coburg. One size does not fit all. Chuck B

I am lost!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to see a picture of the hole, not the front end of the coach. I am Not a Mind Reader!!! Chuck B

You are in a position to have to rely on the insurance coverage you have. I recommend ACTUAL REPLACEMENT COST COVERAGE. If there is a lien on the coach, the lien holder will get first money the insurance company pays After they depreciate the coach. Any money left will go to you.
There is a lot of wires that are hidden in the coach with little access to it. It is almost impossible to put an eyeball on all of it. You will be dealing with problems that will come up in the future. I would take my losses and get another coach. Chuck B

The last time I looked, most All truck stops has a scale. Unless your wallet is glued in you hip pocket, spend a little money and get your coach weighed.

Could I ask what you don’t like about the Koni shocks? I put 4 on my little R4R chassis and it definitely rides and handles better than what was there. My wife even noticed the improvement.
Source engineering Does NOT recommend them. Chuck B

@timaz996 I'm confused? Why paste and copy the question from IRV2? Your not Colddiesel over there, I don't think??
IRV2 is in business to make money. I do not deal with them. Make sure any posts to them are copy writhed or they might steal the posts to make money off them.

I took my 1998 Dip to an Onan dealer. They lifted it out with a fork lift. Chuck B

Monaco made 2 different Windsor chassis in 2003. The raised rail chassis was made in Elkhart and the semi monoque chassis was made in Oregon.

I have a 2002 Monaco Diplomat LE with a Kwikee series electric step. The motor has crapped out and am having a heck of a time getting it replaced.
I took the whole mechanism, linkage and all off and took it to the local NAPA store . They took the motor apart and tried to match it up with pictures on their computer.
They found one that looked like it would work, but when we tried to install it, it wouldn't work.
Next I ordered on from Amazon which said it worked on a series 38 step. the shaft that holds the gears on mine is round, the one from Amazon has flat edges on 2 sides.
Next I tried Etrailer, and was told I had to order the whole new "upgraded assembly" for $439.00.
I've been told that these are power window motors, but there's a ton if different models. Does anyone in the group know what car the motor is from or have any ideas on how to fix it without spending $439.00?
The number on my motor is 151332
Thanks

If there is a DOT number on any headlight lens, google it to find what vehicle it was assigned to, or take the DOT number to any parts store. Chuck B

My husband is approaching retirement, And thinking about retiring early and attending school for repairing r v's. ?? Cost about $14000. He does all the repairs. On ours RV his self, Including small engine work (oil changes fuel pumps , starter, alternators, etc) and remodeling. And setting up our tow car! So Is there a need? And do you think it would be a good idea??? What do you think? Thank you , Sue and Bruce 2003 Monaco windsor

My insurance adjuster factored in enough money to reimburse me for my deductible.

I went through a similar situation with my house after a tornado hit it. I had the actual replacement cost rider on my house. This is how it worked for me.
The insurance adjuster came in to determine the loss. He depreciated the loss to 50%. He cut me a check for that amount. Then it was up to me to get the repairs done. I hired a contractor to make the repairs. Once the repairs were done and I was billed, the insurance company reimbursed the difference. Since there were more homes in my area that got hit by the tornado, I had to wait in line for 6 months for work to be done. A very eye opening experience for me. Chuck B.

What happens if it falls into the hands of someone who is NOT knowledgeable, they install it and it burns their coach down? Chuck B 2004 Windsor

MODERATOR EDIT.
The following comment is in error. This post pertains to a Intellitec MPX system as it integrates with the 5 Button DuoTherm or Penguin MPX Control.
The solution below is for another post that is for an older system (4 button) and is directed at “abandoning” the DuoTherm or Penguin 4 Button MPX system….
END OF EDIT.
Here is a simple fix. A short across the two blue wires will turn on the furnace. A Honeywell Home RTH111B Non-Programmable will provide the short across the blue wires.
