  1. I have an issue with my auto transfer switch. It will not close in on shore power. I checked the voltage at the pedestal and at the incoming lugs of the normal power breaker in the switch. Both show 120 volts line to neutral but nothing on the load side of the breaker. I can run the genset and have power but when I shut it down I have no shore power. Any suggestions?

  2. I clipped a highway sign on my 15 Dynasty and broke the knuckle where the mirror attaches to the arm. Mine was Ramco and I have a camera in mine in the lower mirror (3 mirror glasses in each side). If yours has a camera, they can give you instructions on how to remove that convex mirror pane and reuse in in the new one. It cut my cost to $375.  It was tight feeding the cables through the arm but doable. Connectors in the nosepiece are easy to work with.

  3. I am having trouble with one of my switch pads that controls 6 different functions. I have replaced the pad, the Cat5 cable and a splitter. I thought someone told me there’s a Guru in Ohio but can’t find his name. American Technologies is located in Elkhart so maybe he is there. Any help would be great.

  5. If these are start batteries and you have a Freightliner chassis, I recommend that you look at their Alliance batteries. Good price and they come with a 18 month warranty.

  6. We had a ‘11 Diplomat and had Bilsteins installed at a Monaco Intl. rally and were amazed at how much better the overall ride was. I would call Source Engineering in Washington to get information and a quote.

I am ready to replace my two Group 31’s. Current are Interstate 31 MHD’s.

AGM’s would suit the Lifeline house battery charging profile, but not sure it is worth the extra expense.

What are people using for AGM starting batteries, other than Lifeline?

I checked with Freightliner and am installing Alliance batteries. They are about $90 each and have an 18 month warranty.

  8. In my contact with Freightliner, that installed the original, mine are group 31 and have 1000 CCA. They suggested Alliance Batteries, so I am checking them out. Not as pricey as LifeLines.

  9. I am going to replace my starting batteries on my ‘15 Dynasty with an ISX 600 hp motor. Is there a particular type or manufacturer that I should look to first?
