If you have a smart wheel…On my 07 Dynasty, I pried off the center wheel cover, and cleaned with a clean cloth, the contacts that the push buttons contact. The wipers have been working fine now. I rarely use them as I apply Rainex before each trip. With that big wide windshield, the rain just blows off. I reapply on my return trip as well.

I use rainex as well, use on the boat windshield,  when running down the lake in walleye tournaments in the rain the water just beads right off

I'll add to the comments about LP furnaces being a "propane hog".  During our first 20+ years of marriage we used our motorhomes for snowmobiling in the winter.  Our first two coaches had LP furnaces and they would go through the propane, but they did a relatively good job of keeping us warm.

Our first coach was a 30' Travelcraft gasser and we didn't use the water in the coach for the first couple months of each snowmobiling season.  Although it was a fairly well-built coach, we didn't trust using the domestic water system fully until around March~ish when daytime temps were in the mid to upper 30's and overnight temps only dipped into the mid-20's, that's when we started filling with water and using the coach normally.  That routine continued for the 6-years we owned that coach.  Our second coach was a 38' Beaver Contessa and a much higher quality coach, so we utilized the full domestic water system the entire season.  In the 7-years we had that coach we only froze up one time when the temps got into the single digits.  The line running along the outer wall froze up and I was able to thaw it with a hair dryer the next morning and continue on with our trip.

When we bought our 2003 Monaco Dynasty in February 2007 we started immediately using it that season and couldn't believe the difference the Aqua-Hot made.  Aqua-Hot was on our "must-have" list for the coach when we were looking and I was immediately impressed.  Although I had a good feel for it because my aunt & uncle had Aqua-Hot in their 1996 Beaver Marquis that we would sled with so we were familiar with the pros and why it was on our "must-have" list when looking at coaches.

We used our Dynasty for nearly 5 years before selling our sleds and getting out of snowmobiling.  In those 5 years we never did freeze up or have any issues with winter use.  We generally did not deploy the slides when winter RV'ing though and I feel that reduced area also helped.  We would power our enclosed trailer via the Onan 10kw generator on the coach and that sure spoiled us on the mountain.  I also was very impressed with the dual pane windows for winter use as we didn't have any of the issues we had with our first two coaches.

That's what I forgot to mention, I always kept the bedroom and galley slides in. Great point

  4. My son lives in the UK, he rents the higher end Volkswagen rv's in the country he travels in, I just came from the world Ironman Race in Nice, of course I am always looking at the RV's when they go by, only Rig that I see that would be the same size as my coach are tour busses, everything else is camper van size, small but some nice stuff, personally after being in the coastal elps and in around the city I would not want to drive anything any larger, roads narrow, streets are tight and as you know they go fast!!, those elps with the switch backs were crazy enough on my tt bike I would never drive a full size coach there.I can get some more info from my son if your interested.

  5. All the tiles in mine are heated, I would definitely look into adding heated flooring if and when the time comes to replace,  going all electric is nice and having the generator for recharging, I have never tried the heated floors with the inverter and don't even know if that is possible. For the heat, I believe it would be just right for those of you that do not venture as far north, at times that is all I use to keep the temperature just right, small (electric heater) in the living room and everything is cozy. Nice in the morning as mentioned, keep the socks on the floor ,nice and toastie in the morning. Caught out in the rain on occasions, perfect place to dry things out.

Hurricane Lee is ripping through my lake front property,  my security cameras are out because the power went out yesterday afternoon , there has been a few posts in regards to coach covers, this will be the second Hurricane that the cover has seen,I will post an update once the power comes back on and I get a live feed to the coach and my property.

    Fingers crossed

  6. Another pro that I forgot to mention, for me in Canada I do not have to pay taxes on a cover nor do I need expensive insurance policy. Would love to build a shop but just not worth the taxes and insurance.

Can buy many covers for how long I continue down this motor coach lifestyle.

  7. Morning

    I have had several covers,the cheaper one lasted 2 years, this one from RV covers.ca (Toiles VR.com - SKU -PSA08G - 43' to 46'

Fits on my coach like a glove, the two covers I have had never caused.any chafing, the latest one works great with the snow, I had posted in the past that the cover had no problems when hurricane Fiona ripped though our lake property in Nova Scotia Canada, I do clean and wax my coach often.looks fantastic, as we know there is a ten year policy with coaches on certain sites, when I send pictures I am always welcomed. The cover is not for everyone, there are hazards of getting on the roof, putting it on and taking it off with no wind, usually do it early morning, usually two people to put it on,taking it off is simple. Forget to mention, it is not a tarp,it does breath and there is no mold.

    Hope this helps

Looking for help from 1999 Monaco owners...

We have a 1999 Dynasty 36 Suite Slide. I had it at the shop a couple of months ago, and the diagram which shows all of the 12v fuse/relay/circuit breakers and their respective functions disappeared while it was there (UGGHH!). This diagram was in the exterior compartment below the driver's seat (I've seen it called the front run panel), and had been glued/pasted to the interior of the compartment door.

I have been trying to find another copy of this diagram, but have not been able to find an exact copy anywhere on-line, and of course REV is no help.

A big thank you to another member, who answered a DM I sent him, and sent me a beautiful picture/copy of his diagram. However, even though his diagram says 1999 Dynasty, it does not match my panel...?

The diagram he sent me shows 3 fuse blocks along the bottom of the panel, but mine has 4: 1 on the left, two side by side in the center, and one on the right. I have attached a photo of my panel for info.

I found a 1998 Windsor diagram that was close to my panel, but again, not exact. I know all of my fuses are correct in my panel/the attached photo as I replaced some that the previous owner had inserted incorrectly.

If you have anything remotely close to my panel, could you PLEASE send me a copy/photo of your diagram??

    MUCHO T.I.A.

Mike would help out but I am 1000 miles away from my unit.

Wayne, my ESN is way different as you can see in the picture. I realize you are far away from the rig so this is hardly a help unless you have pictures, the same ESN should be on the original ECM plate. You might do better by registering what you have on cummins site to confirm right or wrong. My SN/ESN is also listed on Monaco's parts list in bedroom.

Ray, there was some mastic visible under and between the coils and the whole thing was wrapped in what looked like fiberglass insulation under a white sheet, something like I have on my shop walls

Hi Wayne, I recall that recently someone mentioned the lift canisters were size 30, if there is any consistency. The oil pan PN should be on Cummins site with your ESN.

Thanks for asking, our summer is going well, 3rd month on the road this trip, 26 locations so far. Enjoy yours while it lasts!

I finally had a chance to call Cummins, I tool the serial number off the Motor, looks like 61951262, they said that is not the number, nothing comes up, the first number is not right, so I asked him to try every number from 0 to 10 and nothing came up, he did not seem to want to help, said sorry buddy your going to have to get dirty and clean that oil pan to find a number, okay, great news,I am already 9 hours away from the unit,  the whole idea was to order all parts and start some repairs in October. Any other ideas?

    Thanks

Wayne, I had to take my unit out to remove the tank cover. It is riveted and I could not get to them to drill them out from the top and rear over the cable master is if you have the same configuration. You'll have the external coil to deal with IF the leak is behind the "firewall" so to speak. This pic gives an idea where the rivets are all around the top and rear.

Omg,I think that is going to wait until I have a week of nothing to do! I understand what could be going on now, I am going to put some air to the cold water intake ,open the faucets (hot water) one at a time and blow any water that may be left in the lines, winterize it and tackle it in the spring, we are traveling via plane /condo for fall /winter breaks.

I have to change the oil pan, looking for a part number for the ISM 500 Cummins,  and I either have to try to take off the air actuator for the tag lift/lower or if anyone has the size ,I believe they are 24",32" ?

Thanks for the help Ivan, hope your enjoying the summer.

  14. Good day Hope everyone is well

I got back to the coach this week, was filling my fresh water holding tank and water started to run un the unit and out the bay door on the opposite side, not just a little, lots of water, I needed some water to get by for the next 7 day so I cut the pex  and put a plug in just before the inlet to the unit so I could still have some water,  Atifreeze in the unit is all good no leaks, had the front cover off, nothing visible from the burner /manifold side. I have never taken the other cover off, going to open Patrick's file and have a look, any idea? What would I be looking at as a fresh water inlet leak inside the until,I read all the threads

    Thanks

  15. I am doing the same, just waiting for the perfect opportunity to tear out the old fridge, while waiting I purchased a V Free fridge freezer chest from Vitrifrigo, going to be a year in July, I am going to purchase the full size fridge to replace the Norcold, they are expensive, I want the 12 volt/electric options, used on water crafts, low voltage consumption, dimensions are correct.

    Hi all,

Last fall I purchased our HR Nav 45’ DD 60.  It was fine when parked late Sept of 22 after driving it home from KY to MN.  We finally came out of our deep freeze here in MN and I decided to fire the old beast up to day.  Cranked and started in under two seconds😎.  Bumped up the idle and went about my examination of how it survived a very brutal winter, it is under cover but open sides.  I watched it build some air on the left gauge, the right did not move.  So the driver side fully aired up, the passenger side never moved.

I am hoping the old gal just needs a little more time to thaw out and will pop right up, i could not hear any audible air leaks but I was listening over th e sound of the DD 60 so IDK.

Pointers on where to start are very much appreciated, again brand new coach to me so I have a very steep learning curve.

Any central MN owners that would be interested in showing me around this amazing rig, I will pay for your time if need be.

Bob, should air up at pretty much any air temperature, we are just across the border, you were at almost 78 degrees over the weekend, looks like it is leaning to the passenger side, air it up again,  move the coach out of the shelter see what happens.

What kind of a fill valve do you have? Is it manual or electric. If electric Red Hat valve, could be leaking past the diaphragm.

I believe I put the garden hose to the pump one time, did not turn it on full just enough pressure to get the flow going, that may help eliminate any restrictions from the pump to the faucets.
