  1. Something to check,

Not sure if you have a filter system (little blue) if you don't have a system you may have been hooked up to a water source with a lot of minerals in the water or just plain sand. we were hooked up in a site out side of Madison Wisconsin on our way to gulf shores, it was the simple fix but I was looking for something else for some reason, all the faucets are fairly high end and came with incredibly small screens, I went around to each faucet took them all apart and cleaned them, water pressure back to normal.

Hopefully it is this simple for you

    If it was a Sharp R1870 these should be the dimensions. Outside Dimensions: 29 15/16” (W) x 16 11/32” (H) x 15 9/32” (D)

It is actually a GE, I was reading all the old posts this morning and seen all the info on Sharp and Samsung but not sure if they are the same, mad at myself for losing measurements, thanks for the quick response John

  4. Going to replace the original over the range convection microwave. I measured it before I left the coach and of course wrote it on a piece of paper and of course the paper is no where to be found.

Ivan or anyone else with a 99 /2000 Signature if you could be so kind to send me measurements, I never did do a thorough inspection of the old one, wall mounted or up through the cupboard? Going to go with ducted model.

    Thanks

  5. Going all electric with the generator running, two space heaters, heated tile floor, I will usually turn one heater off before running an air fryer , kettle for making press coffee.

All that hardware operating all at once is a little much.

Generally it will be available in a Coach that has seen its last days as an RV located in one of the many salvage yards around the country. However, chances are slim to none finding a company that will strip a wall off of a salvage coach.

Wallpaper made in 2005 is 18 years old. Maybe it's time to think about something more current in the areas where needed. Or maybe an interior creative paint job.

Richard, what is behind that wall paper? Mine is still in good shape ,I was thinking about an interior up grade for some time now.

    Thanks

Wayne, are they BEP switches or some other brand?

Photos of failed BEP switches included.

Not sure from that view,I believe the ones I have are Afurkvot high current battery disconnect switch, 12v - 48V.

$ 24.00 each on Amazon.  I am flying back home from the coach, I was following along reading the posts but was unfortunately at the airport already. I did not have a chance to change the second solenoid and still had no 12volt in the coach when I locked her up yesterday.

    Thanks

    Tom,

The Amp-L-Start is still in production and is definitely a good choice as I installed one in my Windsor when the Lambert Battery Maintainer failed. Lambert is out of business.

However, I much better device to install s the Blue Seas ML-ACR than either of the Lambert or Amp-L-Start.

Ed, you should also consider getting rid of those BEP Battery Shut-Off Switches and replace them with Blue Seas, Perko or Guest switches. The BEP just can't handle the high amperage needed.

    Richard

I still have the original 2 battery shut offs, one for house, one for starting batteries, they are located in the same compartment as the batteries, are those the one's that you suggest replacing ? If so are those the brands your suggesting in the post? Doing a whole bunch off maintenance/upgrades in couple months, just Starting to order parts

    Thanks

  9. I did a full service on my Aqua hot in July, new exhaust chamber, fuel nozzle, whole new wiring harness ,new exhaust pipe,Yesterday I put new fuel line clamps (fuel injection line clamps) not gear style on the lines at the unit and at the fuel filter. I still have the bowl type filter,lt is clean like it was brand new,I always carry a spare fuel nozzle and regular spin on filter.

I don't think there is any wrong answer here,if a person was to purchase fuel at the correct locations, use a reputable conditioner you really should not have any problems. The bowl is nice if you would like to see what you have been purchasing for fuel ,fuel from the bowl supposed to go into another container when you drain it but you know how that goes, I have a few absorbent fuel pads to put on the ground.

I have 120 000 miles, since I have owned it probably not more than 200 hours on the unit.

  10. Sounds like a solenoid weekend, finally returned to the coach after 5 months, changed starting batteries, 5 years old, they were low on voltage so just switched them out, changed one solenoid in engine bay in July, I seen today when going through the parts totes that I have 3 more brand new ones,in saying that I am going to change the one on the other side in the morning,  I also have no 12 volt power, 120 good, inverter will come on ,TV and so on will work.

Guessing that may be the problem your facing, a friend of mine was the previous owner ,he would be back there taping them with a hammer, I bought a few spares.

Will let you know how I make out

Wayne, I only have drums on the tag, so no, I did not since they are no parking brake.

But I had a problem with the LR caliper sticking on its sliders and wearing down the outer pad and rotor side which I did not realize until late, if that's what you are referring to.

That's is correct, I forgot that the tag is not a parking brake, that is good news,I will put the lubricant to all the calipers for a few days before I attempt anything.

    Thanks again

  12. Make sure wheels are choked just in case the coach is on a grade and you release the stuck brake and it rolls, strange this came up this morning, was thinking about it ,I may have the same issue when I get to my rig in couple weeks,I am going to spray penetrating oil on the from caliper pins and let soak for a few days while I change Aqua hot fuel filter and top up the water in the batteries, hopefully my back brakes release, let us know how you make out, good luck.

Ivan ,have you ever had a problem with back brakes releasing?

    Yes

I updated my post to clarify that, and included a pic.

    Thanks Wayne.

Carling Rocker Switches, Ebay or I found a place in Eugene Oregon, I had to take the switch out and give them the exact number off the side of the switch, all my documents are in the coach 800 miles away, for the life of me I cannot remember the place in Oregon.

  14. If it is not below freezing we usually close the door to the galley and only heat the bedroom, on suite, I am usually up couple hours before everyone else, at that point I will turn the thermostat on for the galley, can conserve a little energy that way, same with the AC in the heat.

Sorry, Wayne, didn't mention the venting. It comes with parts and instructions to vent outside if you wish. I chose not to do so.

Thank you very much,I already have the hole and receptacle to the right in the cabinet, it is how the original GE is hooked up.

  17. We should talk about safety, Air ride and air brakes.

I am skiddish like a cat when it comes to crawling underneath the rid, firm ground and jack stands in the area where I am going to be,have to remember that there is no room for any of us under the coach if the air was ever dumped from the system,I will bring it to the truck shop if I am unsure.

Airbrakes, if the button is pushed in and or brake seems to be dragging, set of good quality wheel chocks.
