Thanks all but I had to bite the bullet and get someone on my roof to fix.  He replaced the motor and capacitor in about 1.5 hrs new motor from Monaco 355 plus shipping @140 an hour, 280 plus some other stuff. I trust this guy he's simple and true. Southwest RV near Menifee CA.  Had no choice. I know owning one of these today without self maintenance is costly BUT SOME OF US CANT. thanks all for the help again.

I looked at vision rv a few months ago they wanted 1200 each plus shipping. It's that what I'm looking at. It was from a totaled 07 Diplomat.  Are they able to be negotiated of they are sitting long enough. TIA

Any help with where I can get these replaced, fixed or duplicated.  07 Diplomat road side door and fender.  Pix attached.  I'm in Southern California and full me so can't lay up for very long. 

Thanks all for the info. I think I'm between a rock and replacement of both units?   Have to spend the smaller about and patchwork with the motor. 

He put the meter on the capacitor and got 9.1 to 9.4 so it's not the capacitor but they recommend swapping out while doing it. Looking on the internet there are motor prices all over the place. Have no idea which is mine.  Is two hours roof time a good estimate? 

Hey guys, a little off topic but close. I was just told it will cost almost $800 to replace my motor in my front dometic 15k unit that is only 7 years old.  I really don't want to get into total replacement yet is this a smart move or an I throwing good money into bad. And is that a reasonable price to pay. He says motor, capacitor and labor 7 and change.  07 Dip BTW rear unit only 3 years old 

From what I'm getting, I suspect a capacitor, a fan motor and possibly PTCR separate from the capacitor. Is this right. Should I order the capacitor SPP6 and chance that the tech won't have to make a second trip out have him come down and diagnose all involved parts?

Anyone with the knowledge of the capacitor I should order on Amazon. I found someone who will go up and replace it. It seems to be general consensus that it's the capacitor 99%.  Thank you all 

My 5yr old front 15k btu domestic is getting power and trying to start but it gets to a low hum for a long time struggling to turn the compressor on. Sometimes it just shuts down without any further action and once in a while you hear a puff and then a shut down.  In either instance it never turns over into foul ac mode. What should I be looking at? TIA

The bed frame and flooring is not connected to the frame but the rollers for the slide are right there.  The piece being welded is attached to the floor and slide frame. 

I'm going to do some welding under my bed in my 07 Diplomat. Metal holding slide broke and top of bed slide is flopping back and forth opening and closing.  I remember someone saying to disconnect from shore power and turn off main power switches (big red ones in power bay) what else  do I have to be cautious with please. I have been using my Bipap on an extension from the bathroom Gfi run around the wall and under the bed. Doing this 13 years now on 3 different machines. No issues. When hooked to shore up sometimes plug directly into duplex near bed. Still no issues.  07 Dip PAQ

I have been using the Actiontec  MY WIRELESS TV 2 from best buy and on line for a few years. Yes it Disconnects with power but reconnects easily enough. Sure was easier than running wires through my 24 ft slide having slack enough to move etc etc.  It a very viable solution.  

I'm currently headed cross-country and I've been very surprised a real eye-opener that the TSD card is not what it was in the past. There are a number of stations from GasBuddy that are saving me substantially from The increased ridiculous prices we are now facing. You have to use gas buddy and you can save 20, 30 or even forty cents a gallon

Great info especially on the mudflap info.  I realize the mechanics of getting best price but I figured I'd get something and they were very convenient. I didn't expect zero discount.  I've been finding on my return trip cross country back to the left coast that it's wiser to shop gas buddy before hand the street had become more competitive since the steep increase in diesel. So I just filled up with $200 at Pilot Flying J at 385 a gallon and got no discount not one penny is that correct or is this card that I was trying trying to screw rvers like all the oil companies are currently doing to the rest of the world

Nice set up. I have an 07 Dip. What is whisper and bully. I have a sea level not II.  Can you explain how you have intent access and those readings on an app 

My 07 Dip needs a new hose as well and I wanted to change the reel as well. I was told to cut open the panel and frame it out rather than try to remove the entire panel which is a bear. 

Ditto on Stone Vos great fabric and stitching and nice people.  DIY or like me, pay someone. 

Check out who told you a rebuild S in order. I have the 8k Onan in my 07 Dip and it has 3800hrs with regular service.  Rethink a rebuild jmho

What are the advantages of drawbacks of changing to AGM 12v chassis batteries instead of sealed lead acid?  What should a decent AGM 12v battery cost. TIA

What's the wacko silencer? Please and in which unit does it work or a link to the product. How difficult was the install and is it inside or roof top install. TIA 

Didn't see a pix but aside from fob remote could also be if you have a wireless camera in the coach.
