Thank you all for the great advice. After reading all the reply’s and looking at my pictures I see where the moisture has gotten under the paint applying new caulk is a priority to the rest of the coach and that area after repair. Thanks

Good Day to all The paint around the frame of my bedroom slide out is bubbling up. Does anyone know what causes this ? Can I just sand it ? I can’t paint it but I am capable of sanding to help keep the cost down. Thanks for your replys

Being from Washington we have traveled many times through Montana and the Rockies, have not spent any time in The Arches or Zion that will be a trip for another time . plan is to leave mid March and travel South through Arizona and take 10 East through SanAntonio ,New Orleans and Florida to the Keys. Then head to Myrtle Beach where we have friends to stay for 10 days or so and be back home for Summer. If you are not familiar with Western Washington summer starts around the July 5th. So kidding aside 2 month trip give or take.

Planning a trip for next year about this time, heading out from the State of Washington to Arizona and then east on I-10 to Florida hitting all the hot spots along the way. Any suggestions on things not to miss or things that are overrated. Must does or must not does. Thanks in advance for all your suggestion. Tom

Thanks for all your help. This is beyond my skill level I am going to take it in for service in a couple weeks. I will keep you posted.

Good Evening. Today I went to the motor home to do a little maintenance Started the generator to charge the batteries it ran for 5 minutes and stopped, restarted run for a few seconds and stopped. I pushed it out to have a look only to see oil running out the bottom. I was able to get a pan to catch the oil. Any Ideas what kind of problem I might be facing. The only problem I had staying 3 nights at around 5 degrees was water pump would work intermittently. Water pump is in the same bay as the aqua hot but close to the bay door our thought was maybe it was freezing. What ever it was the problem went a way when we got into warmer weather.

My warning light has been on for 2 years. Took it to the shop they went through it got a lot of it could be this or it could be that, but all systems were working properly. I have driven around 10 thousand miles since it first came on with no issues

I have a 2014 edge and we flat tow. It should say in your owners manual.

Mine will eventually end up there also. The funny thing is when we left on the 2 week trip I had no power to front fans, power outlets in front dash area and the step cover would not close. I got advice on how to repair it, but it was to hot and not that inconvenient so decided to wait until I got back home. So back to the night when salesman switched got turned off, some how. When I thought to check it and turned it on everything came to life including the items that had not been working for 2 weeks.

Last day of a 2 week trip. Was outside bbqing came in and the air conditioners were off, no inside lights, toilet doesn’t work about the only thing working is both tv and the outlet for my wife’s breathing machine so the outlets are working Tried the bedroom slide and it was not working The generator works but no change everything that didn’t work still doesn’t with the generator on. Hello all. Not all of dash has no power, just step cover, dash fans, and out let where my gps plugs into. I checked fuses in driver side front compartment all good. My question is is there other fuses inside the dash? Thanks in advance. Tom 2001 executive

Finally got around to working on the no hot water problem, Vito you were correct somehow the kitchen water had been turned off on the Manablock in the basement. Also finished work on the kitchen drain in the slide out where the flex tube broke. Hard work for a fat old man that doesn’t bend very well anymore, next time I will pay to have it done

Thanks Scotty, but I do have hot water everywhere else. I am going to have to take off the pep line off and turn on the pump and see if I get water. Then I will know if it’s a blockage in the faucet or further down the line

Just replaced my Moen cartridge because of no water flow on hot water side….wasn’t the problem. They can be difficult to remove after you take out the clip, that was the case with mine . You can put the top screw back in and with a flat head screw driver tap up with hammer and it should come loose.

Cold water works . When you turn the faucet to hot it stops. I will have to unhook the hot and see if I have flow. I did take the faucet apart and put in a new cartridge.

Vito. Would that be in the bay with the aqua hot. Yes sink is in a slide out. I will check when I go back out Thanks Tom

Hello all. On our last trip we suddenly get no water from the hot side of our kitchen faucet. Changed the cartridge today, still no water from the hot side. All other faucets have water from the hot side bathroom, bedroom and shower. Any Ideas ?

Hello Recently on a trip I turned my aqua hot on for heat ,the fan under the bedroom vanity made a noise like someone stuck a pencil in the blades and then went out. I am home now and pulled up the shelf in the vanity to expose the fans. My question is is it usual for both fans to go out at the same time? Should I be looking for a blown fuse? Everything works fine as far as the Aqua Hot goes the heat exchanger gets hot just no fans working. Thanks Tom. 2001 Executive

Finally got back to the coach to check on the furnace fans. Pulled up the cabinet bottom to expose the fans. The question I have is is it normal for both fans to go out simultaneously, or should I be looking for fuse or something else. Thanks Tom

Is it bike week? We were there about a year ago, on bike week.

On a recent trip in the motor home, on a cold morning turned the furnace mode on in the bedroom the fan made a loud noise and then eventually stopped . That fan is under the bedroom vanity the fan on the other side of the room still runs fine. The question is is the fan accessible by lifting the shelf under the sink. 2001 executive.
