  1. Wow !!! I can only imagine how you feel, hopefully you will end up with a coach comparable or better !

I have herd of the Kongsberg system being problematic but no way to the extent that I now know.

I had looked at an 2009 Signature Cambridge over a year ago and fell in love with the floor plan, the interior was beautiful. but the exterior was rough and reluctantly I passed.  I'm now feeling lucky to have found an 2007 Signature...

  2. Appreciate the Link !

On the topic of Michelin Tires,

I would like to share my experience on when we purchased our 2007 Signature with 32,00 miles March of this year. I didn't check the date codes on the tires until after we got it home, actually I did attempt to look but every tire on the coach the codes were facing inboard. The fifty mile drive home was a little rough. So my first trip was to Pete's Tire where it got new Michelins on the front and Toyo's on the rear.

So what, right... the tires that I drove home on were dated 2006 !! the original tires !!

This is our 3rd coach, I know about date codes and aged out tires. As I write this I'm still beside myself on the bonehead move. If I had crawled under the coach to find the codes I would not be writing this.

If you're looking at a coach to purchase, LOOK AT THE DATE CODES !!!

We are taking delivery on a Prevost coach next month and will be putting our '09 Dynasty Bishop IV up for sale soon. It's a quad slide, 3 axle, 39' coach with a no smog required ISM 500 Cummins and a 12.5 Kw Onan generator. The coach has just over 60,000 miles on it. With 50,000 miles that we as second owners have put on in the last 10 years. It has 3 roof top AC's, 1 solar panel, Sleep number RV King, Tecma macerating toilet, Sanicon system, 3 tvs, Kenwood touch pad GPS radio, surround sound, 2 RGB LED light strips on the Girard awning, and 1 bay slide out tray. This year it's received 4 new house batteries, 2 new Michelin steer tires, new ECM, and all new air bags. I changed the front axle from grease to oil and took care of all the services. No pets, no smoke, and no full timing. Clear title. We have an assortment of spares we take along, fuel filters, belts, etc.  Stored in my hangar when not on the road.  Not perfect, but in great shape nevertheless. Wholesale is in the neighborhood of $165,000.00 which is the firm price we will be asking. It will be detailed when we move into the next one. If you know of anyone interested or have questions please contact me. Thanks.

Did you sell your Dynasty ?

  4. I had the same problem with my 2009 Dynasty, Did what TigerMar did, replaced the same valve and took care of the problem !

Also I had an issue that randomly, water would come out of the supply hose when running the pump. The first time it happened I was on the road and stopped at a rest stop, used the toilet and left the water pump on. I got out of the coach to do walk around and noticed water running out of the wet bay. Water was comming out of the hose, so I turned off the pump and put a cap on the hose end. This issue would come and go, was driving me nuts ! I found a check valve was sticking. It is inline just after the water pump.

    Correction

It is inline just before the water pump.

  5. A few years ago when we got our Dynasty I had to take it to the DMV for a VIN certification. The entrance driveway had a tight turn, so I thought hey I should lift the tag... with the tight turn was followed by a steep incline, halfway through the incline I could feel the tow bar digging into the asphalt. When I got parked and checked out what was dragging and found there was no damage, except a gouge in the asphalt. I thought to myself what a dumb as#@! move. Since then I only lift the tag when backing into a tight space at a CG
