  1. Same with my 2000 Dynasty. Found a burned connection  (neutral) in one of those crummy plastic wire connectors that they lay the wires in and snap the cover down. It was under the overhead cabinet plywood flooring (behind co-pilot seat) where the romex cables are run. Had to use a wire tracer (toner) in order to find where the break was. I set two junction boxes in the cabinet to eliminate the hidden connections. Now it’s accessible . The bottom floor is thin and had brad nails holding it down. Easy to pry loose.
Maybe you could be lucky and find a bad connection in a receptacle killing the power downstream. It’s always something simple. Just finding it can be the hard part.

  2. Yeah, I thought that too. Will try but my toner is old like me and weak. It did work to find a burned out neutral  under the floor in an overhead cabinet factory connection a few years ago. ( Why they hid a connection   I don’t know. Guess NEC doesn’t apply. ) Installed a junction box that was accessible in the cabinet to fix it.

  3. Not yet. Will try to trace power wire to solenoid with my toner. May be hard because the signal bleeds to other wires in the bundle. Just have to listen for the strongest one. I’ll let y’all know if I find it. In the meantime, if anyone wants to chime in, please do.

  4. Nope, not in console.  No air line there.
So today I checked the output to the horn solenoid from the horn relay terminal  when activating the horn button. 12.6vdc. Unplugged the wire from solenoid to horn. Measured ohms to ground on it. Had 1.4 so there’s a coil on the air solenoid that isn’t burned out. With plenty of air in the system, I ran a jumper wire to the sol. wire bypassing the relay sending 12vdc positive straight to the solenoid. Still no horn.  Maybe a stuck solenoid. Still looking for the elusive solenoid.  FWI I had to change a blown fuse about five months ago on the horn.  Leading me to believe I’m going to be replacing that solenoid valve.

  5. Thanks guys. It’s not in the cabinet area above the windshield. Found a “ T “ fitting with the supply line from the solenoid and split to two horns there . The air line looks like it runs down the windshield post on the driver’s side. Don’t know where yet. I’m having fun looking 🤨. It’s also not in the front run panel either.  Did not see anything looking up from the ground on the left front forward end around the drivers side. Keep  the ideas coming. I’m appreciative of them. Your help will get me there.

  6. 2000 Dynasty 40’.
I have power to the 12v horn relay in the front run panel. I can feel it click when the horn button is pressed on the steering wheel. Air pressure is up. There’s no air at the horn on the roof. I’m thinking that the air solenoid is not working but pretty sure there’s power getting to it. Anyone know where it is located? Horns were working in the last month. Thanks for all the help. Jim

  7. Try wiggling the foot peddle up and down. It should rest in the middle somewhere. If that doesn’t stop the problem you’ll have to replace the flush valve. Easy job. Just be sure you turn off t water  pump 😎 .

if you have a Dometic/Sealand toilet like I have in my 2000 Dynasty, there’s plenty of them on eBay and Amazon available  .(get one that will fit your toilet model #). Mine took a part no. 385314349  .  It fits several Sealand models . If I remember, mine is a model 501. YouTube  has some good videos on replacing them . ( You don’t have to remove the toilet bowl for this job like you do to replace the flush seal  .)    When I replaced mine, I put a little dab of silicone grease on the top of the ball that rides on the foot leaver so it could move smoothly . Hope that helps you with the fix.

  8. I’m interested i taking your fixtures. Are they the 18 “ lamps inside them ? I have some that need ballasts etc. I have  a 2000 Dynasty. My fixtures measure 20 1/2” by 6 1/2” (outside of framework). Yours look very similar to mine.

  9. Their website won’t list Norcold so you have to call them. They make a kit to replace the gaskets. There is no catalog for them so they will give you instructions on what you’ll need to do to order. It seems that Norcold didn’t make all the same gaskets and doors the same even on the same model.  They quoted me $225. for the kit which included everything needed, instructions, and shipping for my 4 dr. 1200 LRIM .

Since I’ve already converted it to a JC Refrideration w/ 120v compressor three years ago , and it works so well, I’ll replace my deteriorating gaskets.

  10. I have a 2000 Dynasty 40’coach. I’m assuming you’re referring to the two 120vac panels located in the rear of coach over the bed. I could take a pic but I have moved some of the wires to different positions and re-labeled. So that wouldn’t help you much. I would suggest that you turn off ALL the breakers in  both panels. Then turn one on and see what is energized. Then label it. Continue on to another and label until you have completed all the breakers. Takes time but at least you will know what is what.

  11. Thoughts go out to you. Lost our Boston a couple of years ago. Same problem. We also have cats. Loosing one right now to heart an diabetes. Don’t think he’s going to last the day. We grieve because they are family.

  12. Looks like it’s been used with mileage and generator usage at 3000hrs. Tires are good for age dates. More than likely bugs and problems have been fixed over the time of ownership. Have you driven it?
You didn’t mention anything about service records , repairs, receipts, etc. I’d be looking at that. Operate the washer/dryer.  Pull out cabinet drawers and look at the floor for water leaks etc. I’m pretty sure this model has AquaHot. Does It function through the cycles and come back on when temp resets? When last serviced? Paint:  if you’re planning on that experience, $$$$$.  Does it need it?? What EMS / transfer switch is Installed?  Norcold refer replaced with what???? TV’s upgraded to digital flat screen? Entertainment system working? Toilet holding a little water in the bowl? I’m not sure but I don’t think it uses DEF. That would be a good thing.  I’m sure I could think of more to look for but if it meets all the above, you probably could make an offer. If they are asking $80, they will take less. Always negotiate. Good luck. Jim 2000 Monaco Dynasty 40’
