  1. Thanks for the quick replies. The foot switch does have some resistance so that is probably the problem. I have just now been searching for the part number PN 012260 and so far the first few places that come up are out of stock. I'll keep looking.
  2. This is on a 2002 Monaco Signature ISM 500. It has a two stage exhaust brake. It seems to work as it should about 70% of the time. Can someone describe the circuit. There is a Brake HIgh/Low switch on the left driver panel. It has a momentary contact foot switch which I suppose could be going bad. What is the circuit from there? Is there a Bosch relay somewhere? I presume maybe there is a solenoid or maybe two on the engine. I am trying to trace it out to find where it is failing but do not have a diagram to help with that. Any help would be appreciated.
  3. Will that was quick, they just sent me the pdf of the original sticker 1RF14561421018643.pdf
  4. I expect original prices of the older coaches has been discussed here before but I am not finding it. Anybody have knowledge of the original price of the coach I bought a couple years ago. It is a 2002 Monaco Signature with the ISM 500 Cummins 40 foot with TAG and pretty much all the available bells and whistles. It would just be interesting to know. It would also be interesting to know who makes something of as good or similar quality today and what is the cost of that?
  5. Someone must know where I can buy a replacement for this spring loaded contractor for the door lock solenoid. So far I have not found where to buy them and mine is sticking occasionally, any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance .
  6. I opened the black box again this morning and sure enough the 12 volt 5 amp fuse was blown. Replaced it and all is working as it should. Thanks guys for the help.
  7. Thanks for the picture of that board. I think mine is a little different but maybe not. I'm going to look in there again to be sure.
  8. Thanks John. I didn't see a second fuse on that board when I opened up that box.
  9. I think you are correct. That fuse is in the lower left corner of that lower left black box located on the circuit board immediately above where the 120 AC comes in to the box. It is a small fuse, 5 amps I think I expect the 120 volt heater uses more than 5 amps.
  10. I just reread the original post. It looks like I I omitted some info that might help you guys that a trying to help me. I ran a cable from a breaker on the front driver-side electrical bay back to the back of the refer and connected it to the red wires which seem to be the 12 volt supply. That results in the refer running as it should. So the frig is working properly though just a temporary solution. That cable is just laying on the concrete under the Coach. I could run a jumper from another 12 volt circuit that is close to the refer and solve the problem but I really want to find what blew and fix it properly. I only found one fuse in that black box on the lower left of the back of the refer and that is a 120 volt circuit and the fuse is good. I do have the temperature cut off module on the back of the refer as well. It has a red led on it I'm not sure under what conditions that LED is supposed to light, it is not lighted.
  11. Thanks for the ideas, The fuse in the black box on the back of the frig is not blown, it is on a 120 volt A/C line not 12 volt. Ivan, yes there are automatic reset breakers in the rear low current plate at the back drivers side. The diagram does show a frig breaker back there but it does not match the actual layout of the breakers so not sure which breaker goes to the frig however none of them are open. Checked all the fuses in the front drivers side again none of them are open. I am still missing a fuse somewhere.
  12. I lost 12 volt power to my water pump could not find any fuses blown so as a short term fix I jumpered 12 volts over from the close by the circuit to get the pump running. That was a bad idea! It ran for a very short time and a fuse blew. So I search for the frig fuse. No such thing in the front bay or the closet fuse panel. Labels are questionable so I checked every fuse I could find (all 102) all test good with the multimeter. Checked the rear low current box and again no joy. So the question is, where does the 12 volt power come from for the frig? Where is that fuse? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  13. I cleaned it up, then ran the a/c for 1/2 hour to check for leaks with the UV flashlight temperature at the vents went down to 39F. Saw no leaks, sprayed soapy water all around, no bubbles. So why did it stop leaking?? Seal was dried out? now with the oil started sealing again? Hmmm.
  14. Thank You, Mine has that same number 329-412 stamped on he side as well.
  15. Thanks that was very helpful! Got to the expansion valve and that is what is leaking, I can't tell yet where it is leaking. The hardest part so far is taking the bottom panel of the dash off. Ivan yours looks like it has screws from the front that you can get at. My screws come up from the bottom through the mating fiberglass flanges. Had to have been installed before the full width dash was put in place. I got it off but had to cut one screw with a body saw. Not sure how I'll get it back on but I'll figure out something. Now to find exactly where the leak is on the valve or fittings. Is that a standard kind of valve or something special? I have little to no experience with A/C. Anybody have a part number?
  16. New here on Monacoars forum, I'm very impressed with the activity and all the help/knowledge that is shared here. Have owned the Coach about 1.5 years. It is a pretty well maintained 2002 Monaco Signature 40'. Last summer traveling the dash A/C worked very well. Not so this summer. Took it to an A/C place and they changed a leaking fitting on the high pressure hose at the compressor, still showed a small leak finally added oil and dye, ran the system, it produced very cold air during the 30 minute ride back home. Later in the day, there is a puddle of oil at the top of the steps coming from under the Passenger side front corner of the center console. So it would appear that the evaporator or a line has a leak. i have removed the center console looking for the evaporator. Now I'm a bit confused. Is the heater core and the evaporator in the same box? I am having trouble figuring out how to get the cover off that box as it is sitting in a heaver steel tray and it doesn't appear to have room to lift it up out and over the lip of the tray. The oil is dripping from a couple inches to the right of the right side of the box from under some heavy rubbery/sticky tape that appears to be insulation tape. Is that where the A/C plumbing comes into the evaporator? Also still trying to figure out how to remove the vinyl covered panel to the right of the center console. I have it loose at the floor but it seems to be firmly attached to the dash molding above it with fasteners that I can't see how to reach. Any help/advise on how this all comes apart would be appreciated very much. I have found some threads on the dash air but so far have not found detail about how all this comes apart or exactly where the evaporator is.
