I would check your mechanical vent valves that you will find under the sinks. They are notorious for leaking odors.

Previous owner seemed to screw a rug into back bedroom floor. I keep getting wafts of black tank smell from only the back bedroom and not even in the toilet. How much length is there from floor to holding tanks? I have a 32s

Not a big if at all improvement. Im thinking some extra vehicular activites are in my future

Barely feel air coming out of the vent holes. Its cold but my 5000 btu window unit pushes air out faster than the roof unit. I was told to check the motor if its clogged... would i do that from the roof or inside?

And perhaps i have unreasonable expectations of this system... here is the temperature change over time

Well the pros in my mind are having the lithiums hardly cycled. And kept as a dense backup to the 2-3 year cycle life however cheaper per unit leads.

Also if you have two DC-Dc chargers going in opposite directions- make sure you have the charging allowed set-up correctly. 
 

What can happen if both are running at the same time is you will lose 13% of the power on both sides as you make a loop - and with both being on - it just keeps going. If they both just run off of voltage when the house gets to the turn on level (because of solar), it starts charging the chassis, then a bit later the chassis gets to turn on level and suddenly you have a loop that is just draining away power. 
 

On the chassis side you probably need to run the wire turn-on switch through a relay that connects to the ignition - that way you don’t have the loop.

So sounds like the victron unit will need one in each direction to do what I need it to do. Thanks! I plan on having 4 lead size 27 and 3 size 27 lithiums

Hello I currently have a set of lead acids charged by solar panels. Im trying to add in a set of lithiums to the array. Does anyone know if dc-dc chargers only work one way? Or perhaps I need two? The idea is to have two different chemistries and be able to charge and use them at the same time without needing to switch manually

Some of my baggage compartment latches are missing, any advice on repairing them? Parts needed would be appreciated.

Otherwise if anyone has a more secure method of locking them, I'm all ears. Even if welding or brazing would be required. Ideally would prevent thieves from stealing batteries, generator, etc equipment from the baggage compartments.

At the moment, some of my baggage doors are held close by way of zip ties.

My thermometer shows 30% RH in my rv atm i think a swamp cooler is viable. Just not sure on best way to configure it. Anyone here build one to mount? Limited on space so prefer a unit i can get off the floor. Probably will use an engine fan for 12volt
