  1. Mike, Thank you for another super informative write up. I look forward to the video!
  2. All, Thank you for all the good ideas. I learned a lot about DOT and pex pipe/fitting specifications with this adventure, so at least that was fun. Long story short, my lines are 1/2 pex, not 5/8 as previously thought. I did not have calipers with me to measure when I found my leak. I was sighting the size off the 3/8 lines that run to the washing machine. Rookie…. After a not so relaxing evening with a fish tape, I am all fixed up with new 1/2 pex supply and return lines. My lines also connect to the registers with heater hose as Ivan’s do. Thanks again!
  3. This is the run to the bedroom register in the rear closet. Cinch clamps might work, I am just trying not to invest in tools that I hopefully won’t need again in the future…
  4. I checked all our local suppliers. They can get 5/8 Pex tubing, but I would need to buy 500 feet. They cannot get the ptc unions.
  5. Ivan, Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately the OD of Pex al is too large. It also takes special fittings.
  6. Correct. The lines are 5/8 ID Pex B. The OD of the line is 3/4.
  7. I have a leak in my supply lines to the bedroom register. I am having a difficult time finding push to connect unions and 5/8 Pex tubing. I don’t have good access to use a compression fitting to make the repairs, hence the desire for ptc fittings. I have researched 3/4 airline and DOT push to connect fittings and found they are good to 150 psi and 200 degrees F. The OD of the airline is the same as 5/8 ID Pex. Has anyone tried this before? Does anyone have a good source for 5/8 Pex and Pex ptc fittings?
  8. Ivan K, Are those braces accessed inside the coach under the dash or outside the coach under the dash?
  9. Sometimes when I go across bridge abutments, I will get a huge wind noise from the windshield. Later when I run across another abutment, the wind noise goes away. The first time it happened I thought I had just developed a massive air leak since it was so loud. A quick glance to the air gauges put my fears at bay. It still freaks me out when it happens, but I have just learned to live with it.
  10. Premium Coach Group in Gilbert is amazing. We bought a Prevost on consignment through them and it was a memorable experience. https://premiumcoachgroup.com/
  11. The idiocy is solved! Well at least the awning…. The fabric pull was stuck inside the tube. Thank you all for the help. I love this place!
  12. Does anyone have a scan gauge that you want to sell?
  13. Please excuse my ignorance. I have a zip dee manual awning on my 2000 Navigator. I have no clue how to deploy it. The owners manual lists knobs that I don’t have. Would you please share your zip dee deployment and retraction procedures? Thanks.
  14. My 2000 Navigator manual says I should have manual slide locks on the hydraulically actuated salon slide. Unfortunately, the PO must have thrown them away at some point. I am not sure how long he may have run without them. Any issues running without?
  15. My coach has a 500 horse ISM. Does anyone still use their Winn system? Has anyone used the R90P (30 micron) filter from the replacement Racor 790R30 system on their Winn system?
