  1. Tom Cherry, thank you for your comments. i will do some testing and see with the batteries disconnected and see what readings I get on the Magnum. Thanks again
  2. Frank, thank you for your help. Jay
  3. All of my light switch pads remain illuminated. Where is the control to turn off the illumination? Also if the battery disconnect switches for the engine and house are turned off, does the charger continue to keep the batteries charged when hooked up to shore power?
  4. There is a switch for the external TV next to the passenger seat but it is not lit and does not work. There are two 1amp fuses in the rear panel that are marked ext tv up and ext tv down. Both fuses are good. Any ideas where to look next? The TV is in the L/R slide on the passenger side.
  5. Thanks everyone for the help in resolving my problem. As it turns out, the problem was with one of the connections under the AC inside the coach. I cleaned the connectors with WD40 and that solved the problem. I do have another question trying to understand and learn my hvac system. If I choose furnace at the thermostat, what is actually creating the heat? Is it the 110 volt Aqua Hot that heats the hot water? Or does it ignite the Aqua Hot and use diesel? I don't quite understand exactly how it works. Thanks again everyone especially Tom Cherry.
  6. Tom Cherry, Thank you so much for your help. I did the reset as per the latest instructions for Penquin ll and still nothing happens. I think I'll have to go back and address the first E1 error code and see if I can track down the problem. Thanks again
  7. Tom Cherry, thank you for your response. I pulled the front AC but did not disconnect any wires. I turned the AC on it's side and had a helper to hold it there while I worked. After re-installing I got a Code E1 at the thermostat. By the way I think my thermostat has been changed. Mine does not have a on off switch at the bottom. It has a power button. It is a Dometic thermostat. I looked up the Code E1 and it said the probable cause is a connection not making contact . I'm going to check the connections from under neath. It is possible I might have put strain on one of the cables. I tried doing the reset as you instructed and I get init at the top of the screen. Also in the display I only see zones 1 and 4. Jim J, I did not disconnect any wires. I turned the unit on it's side and had someone hold it there.
  8. Today I replaced the AC gasket and drain cups. When turning the system on I got a Code E1. I attempted to reset but I think I had instructions for the wrong unit. Now my thermostat only displays zones 1 & 4 but you can only access zone 1. I have 3 Dometic heatpumps. Can someone with a 2008 or 2009 Monaco Dynasty help me out. The manual for the AC's was missing when I purchased the coach.
  9. Bill B, you were fortunate to have 5 spare tiles. I have two and it looks like I'm going to have to replace 3. Would you happen to know if the tile goes underneath the wall for the half bath? Or does it just butt up and covered with shoe molding? If it goes under the wall then mine is a major repair. That's one of the tiles that is lifted up and broken. Thanks, Jay
  10. Doug and Nicki: thanks for the info. One more question; how do you access the rear AC filter? There is a grill with wood trim around it. I can see the filter behind the grill. Does the wood trim snap in? I don't see any screws. Thanks, Jay
  11. Thank you Jim J and Richard Smith for the helpful information. Richard, mine does have the decorative woodwork similar to yours. Jay
  12. Is there someone that has a 2009 Monaco Dynasty had experience replacing the AC gasket. I have looked at several videos and they show unbolting the AC from inside the coach. I don't see a way to get to mine from inside. Is it bolted down from the outside? I'm getting a leak around the front AC and suspect the gasket.
  13. Thank you Jeff and Steve for your info on the roof ladder. Jay Thanks Just Jim, but my bottom section is fine. I need the top section. Jay
  14. Thanks Paul, I actually am having an RV tech to order the ladder for me. He took measurements and is confident he can order one that will work, Thanks again, Jay Thank you Jeff and Steve for your info on the roof ladder. Jay
  15. Jeff, thank you for the photos. Jay
  16. Thank you Fasthobie16, David L, and Doug and Nicki for the feedback, looks like I have my work cut out for me.
  17. Hi, I see you have the same coach as I do and I need to pull the TV. I'm not replacing it. I just want to hook up an Amazon Fire stick. We recently purchased the coach and the previous owner had satellite. I would really appreciate a conversation on the phone if you don't mind. My cell is 757-644-9905. Thanks, Jay
  18. When we purchased the coach last year it had one tile cracked and was slightly lifting up. It was in front of the half bathroom door, Now one of the adjacent tiles is cracking and the first tile seems to have lifted more. Any idea as to what could cause this? My wife thinks that if the coach is not exactly level it will cause the tile to crack. Thoughts? 2009 Monaco Dynasty
  19. Thanks everyone for your help in trying to solve my problem. I have decided to order a new door lock switch and install it. I found one on Amazon for about $23. Hopefully that solves the problem. Thanks again
  20. 2009 Monaco Dynasty with Maytag washer & Dryer. I'm getting a DL code which is the door lock. I am assuming the door lock switch has gone bad. Has anyone had to replace this switch and could share some advice on removing it.
  21. I want to say a great big thank you for all the responses regarding my ladder. I had not tried the new avenue thinking it would not be available due to the age of my RV. I will definitely call Rev Group in Oregon. And to Mike Wardell, thanks for the offer of the bottom section. I need the top section. I backed into the gutter on my garage and ruined my ladder, cracked the fiberglass and crushed the gutter. Ouch!!!! $$$$$. We really haven't used it yet and I completely forgot that I have a rear camera.
  22. Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase a used roof ladder for my 2009 Monaco Dynasty? I tried Vison RV, Colaw, and RV Yard and no luck.
