  1. Thanks, this is helpful info. I thought about hooking a battery charger directly to the batteries for a more efficient charge.
  2. Is the chassis battery the one in the compartment next to the water heater? That has to be opened by removing the screw at the bottom? I have a 3/4 diesel. I was planning to jump it from that if I can do it without damaging anything. It is not. It's curbside at someone else's house. Only 15-amp available.
  3. We’ve been remodeling a new to us 2003 Windsor. the coach has been sitting at someone else’s house for the past month while the cabinets have been getting painted. I went to start the coach, and both the chassis and the house batteries are completely dead. The person doing the work must have turned something on and drained it. How should I go about getting this thing started again? I did plug the coach in but the inverter did not come on. A couple of the 110 V systems inside came on like the microwave but none of the 12 V systems. Is this because the house batteries are so thoroughly drained it’s going to take a while before they will come on? I did not have any tools with me, so we have to go back tomorrow to get the coach running. I did leave the coach plugged in. All systems were working when it was parked last month. Lesson learned, use the disconnect switch next time!
  4. Good to know! I was planning to add a small down light near the toilet to help with those middle if the night bathroom visits!
  5. That's exactly what I am experiencing too! It has trapped moisture in there. When you repaired the floor, since you did not replace the sound barrier, did you have any problem in height difference? Even thought it's probably only 1/16"?
  6. Did you replace the sound barrier? Or go without it?
  7. Thanks for sharing that! I actually read through your entire thread last night to give me a bit of an idea of what I might find when I opened my patient up for surgery this afternoon!
  8. Repairing water damage in the new to us Monaco. there’s 2 layers of subfloor - both 5/8” OSB. Whywas there a rubber membrane between the layers? Unfortunately in this case, the rubber membrane prevented the subfloor from drying out and trapped moisture inside, leading to further damage. Wondering what the original purpose was and if I need to replace it. For bottom layer of OSB, there’s a vapor barrier of some sort did this serve a purpose? Or was it to make the basement area more presentable?
  9. I suppose it could be, but why would a toilet need a 12v connection? LOL The toilet that was uninstalled does not have a connection on it.
  10. I have a 12v electrical connector in my bathroom that I have no idea what it goes to. Can someone help me figure it out? About a month ago we a 2002 Monaco Windsor. It has water damage which we're repairing (from a frozen burst pipe). The previous owner had already demo'd much of the damaged wood. In the bathroom, near the elevated toilet, there is a 12v connection coming out of the floor. The connector is still attached but I cannot find the corresponding plug it goes to. Was there a removed appliance of some sort? Mood lighting? Hoping another Monaco owner can help me figure out what it's for? Thanks!!
  11. It's a fair thing to check. The doors lock just fine - they just won't unlock.
  12. Hi everyone! I was able to program a new master code. I can now get the entry door to lock and unlock. I can get the baggage doors to LOCK but not UNLOCK. It seems I am not inputting the correct command. After entering my master code, I have tried pushing 7/8 to unlock the baggage doors and get a confirmation beep from the keypad but nothing happens. I also don't hear the relay clocking inside the same way I do when they lock. Trying other digits after the master code also has no effect. Any other ideas from the hive mind?
