  1. My 06 Windsor has the Valid air leveling as well.
  2. Does anyone know how to add a switch inside the coach for the compartment locks that go thru the alarm system without having to use the key fab ?
  3. Good afternoon group. I am having issues with my Aqua Hot AHE-100-04S not firing up. What I have done is a serviced it which includes a new filter and a new orfice. After putting it back together it worked great. A day later flipped the diesel switch on and after a few seconds the light goes out and it wont fire up. So I go back out and remove the burner again cause I read that there might be trash in the screen on the fuel pump inlet. so I tear it down cleaned what little trash I found and cleaned all the wiring connection and the flame eye. adjust the electrodes. Put it all back together and it fired up and lasted 4 days and the light went out and quit firing up again so I shut it off and ill try it again later today. has anyone had this problem and any luck with a repair to fix it. is this a common problem with these ? I don't think its a thermostat issue cause it will fire up. The electric side works fine. I just the diesel side to keep up with the cold weather we are having. Any ideals would be appreciated. Seems to be a intermediate issue. Was working perfectly up to about 3 weeks ago and all this started.
  4. Thank you and I’ve figured out the over fill problem. It was my water pump back feeding.
  5. This is probably it. Cause I do have a small plastic thank in the compartment with my filters and manifold valves. And there is a winterize switch but I had no ideal what it did. Thank you. Now I’m getting closer.
  6. I have used these as well in both of my motorhomes and they have work great for several years now. the only thing is it don't update the old out dated figures lol.
  7. I thought that too and took it all apart to check the city/ tank valve and it wasn’t it. After researching more after that apparently the pumps have a check valve in them that doesn’t seat causing them to bleed back it the tank. You can buy the check valve with out the pump. Would be cheaper. But I chose to replace the whole pump cause I didn’t know if my old one worked since this coach is new to me. So replacement was a better option. 🤷‍♂️
  8. "UPDATE" ok so this is how I managed to get my step well cover assemble out. After removing the carpeted step off the slides. I removed the 4 self tapping mounting screws that held in the assemble in and slide the assemble out to the point it hit the door frame. I then took a grinder with a cutoff wheel on it and sliced the center mounting bracket in half close to the center. After that I removed 4 rivets that hold the aluminum braces off of one side. By doing this it allowed me to be able to pinch the entire front part of the assemble together enough to slide out the door and up enough to clear the steps. I also had to remove the grab handle to be able to lift it high enough to get the assemble out. once the assemble was out the motor replacement was easy as melted butter. the motor number was a Dayton 3Lch7 that i purchased at Grainer which was the cheapest place to get it. never could find it available on ebay or amazon and it not be close to $100. I also reinstalled the carpeted step and drilled a hole in the exact location as the screw bolt and welded a nut to the end of it so that I could put a socket on it in the future if needed to manually turn the bolt to push the step out if the motor ever goes out again. I went to hardware store and purchased a 1 1/2 " desk hole grommet to put in the hole I drilled to class it up some. You can remove the center and slide the socket in and go to turning. Hope this helps others in the future cause there not much on this subject out there on the web.
  9. Ok so my problem is fixed. I changed the water pump and problem solved. My guess is that the check valve maybe was bad. Thank everyone for your help.
  10. I was just seating here going thru this groups section but have had no luck yet. I haven't tried the IRV2 page yet. I'll go there thank you.
  11. Can anyone tell me how to go about changing the step well cover electric motor. I cant even get the step cover frame out because it hits the door frame first so there is still no access to the motor mounting hardware to change it. Anyone got any tips, has anyone had ground issues causing the motor to draw more amps tripping the resetting circuit breaker or is it generally a worn motor issue ? it works but as soon as you hit the switch it will move a 1/2 inch and trip the circuit breaker over and over.
  12. the picture I posted isn't the prevent a freeze. My prevent a freeze is in the wet bay just under the water pump by the water manifold shut off valves. the photo in question. I now believe is the auto fill valve but I don't now how it works cause I'm not sure of the Aladdin system or how to even turn the system on lol. But i do think my problem is the check valve in the water pump bleeding by so I'm gonna put a new pump on with hopes this fixes the issue.
  13. That's what I'm thinking it is as well after researching it. But I'm gonna have to check that area for a switch. But I don't recall one. I'm thinking it has something to do with the Aladdin system but I don't now anything about that system yet or even how to turn it onto view it. But I will be checking the wet bay this evening for a switch. Thanks
  14. Interesting!!! Now I'm curious as to what operates this option. I haven't seen anything yet that say it on any switches. gives me something to go on at this point. Thanks
  15. 2006 Monaco Windsor. My fresh water tank is filling up slowly by its self. It will eventually completely fill up. I just removed the tank/city valve to see if it was not shutting off properly but that wasn't the case. I found a 3 way valve on top of the fresh water tank on the drivers side that appears to be a electric 3 way. What is this ? And what activates the electric solenoid on it ? Does anyone know ?
  16. Ok so since I just read this. It brings me to a couple more questions. So your saying if one ac unit has the 12v going to it. it will feed the other ac unit thru the telephone cable. correct ? Reason for asking is that my power distribution panel has a fuse for the ac and the same color wire that is on it is feeding the rear ac. This should be my system 12v feed for both units . Correct ? And second question is about the telephone cable ports P1 AND P2. How do I determine which is which and does it matter which cord is attached to which connector ? They are not labeled underneath which connector is which. My thoughts now could be are the out of sync causing my power lose on the front ac unit ? The rear unit has 1 telephone cable and the front has 2 cables 1 thermostat cable and one linking the rear ac unit. Could my rear cable being plugged into the wrong connecter cause my lose of voltage to the front ac unit.
  17. ok so on a good note. I was correct on my thoughts. it is hooked up wrong. I unhooked the wires that someone hooked up in the front ac. I put the brown and green together to test the aqua hot and the circulation pumps came along with the exchanger fans. so I attached the "infamous blue wires " to the green and brown wires. and introduced a separate 12v and ground to the red and black wires to power the ac control board. I turned it all on and it works as it should. I just need to know how to be able to pull the wires thru the roof for my separate power and ground. you would think the factory would have already had them there but I cant find them and it don't appear that you can access the roof harness at all unless I'm messing something. I have other issues with the HVAC but I might make a separate post on them.
  18. Thank y'all for your quick replies. gives me an avenue to go this afternoon when I get off work.
  19. Ok that’s what I was thinking. Someone has hooked them up wrong. And both of my control modules are in the outside under the top cover. Now I need to find out what happened to the original 12v power wires. Maybe they got shoved into the roof somewhere. Thank you. I’m gonna be checking this out after work today.
  20. Interesting. So your red and black wires that are connected to the pair of white wires and pair of black wires. Is that in the front ac or the back of the coach. after seeing these I feel like I'm on to something. I just need to find out what the previous owns have done. Do you have aqua hot ? I'm guessing your 2 blue wires that are connected to the blue wire and the white wire go straight to your furnace controller.
  21. Yes i have checked the dip switches and the only one on the front ac that is flipped is the furnace switch. And the front ac appears to be the original 13.5 unit. not the high capacity.
  22. Ok so I'm looking for help with what I feel is a communication issue between the dometic penguin (5 button) ac/heat pump/furnace and my Aqua Hot AEH-100-04s. I recently purchased this 2006 Monaco Windsor. Now that its starting to get cold I am trying to use the heat. When turning on the furnace in both zones and bumping up the temp to 90 it never turns on the front (kitchen/living room/ front dash) heat exchanger's. What I have checked. went out to the Aqua hot control panel to check the lights and found That zone 5 which is the front exchangers is never turning on the circulation pump or the fans on the exchangers. I have manually introduced 12v and ground to the zone 5 fan terminals behind the panel to see if the fans all worked in that zone and they did. I also did the same on that circulation pump and it to worked. I have perfectly good hot water and the preheat works as well. This is where it gets tricky. If I'm understanding the system correctly the front ac should be telling the AH to turn on thru the 2 blue thermo wires coming out of the ac unit thru the Monaco installed brown and green that is going to the AH. Here's my problem. The way some one has the ac hooked up I feel is wrong. The brown and green wire is a 12v and ground that is coming off the Ah therm terminals. someone has these 2 wires connected to the red and black wires on the ac unit and the 2 blue wires appear to be dead. I tried to hook it up according to monaco diagram brown and green to the 2 blue therm wires and go to turn on the thermostat to test it and the thermostat no longer has power. so I hook it back up the way it was and gained power back to the thermostat. I don't feel like the ac control module should be getting its 12v from the AH controller it should be getting it to the 12v distribution panel. Right? I have had a Aqua Hot expert come and look at it and he only deals with the aqua hot itself. He tried a new control board and that wasn't the issue. he said the AH is working fine and that it was a communication issue/ wiring issue on the coach end. I have also replaced the 5 button thermostat with a microaire easy touch which made absolutely no difference. does anyone have a or can get me a picture of the 6 pin connector wiring under the ac return air vent of the front and back ac units ? I feel as tho someone has the ac's wiring hooked up all wrong.
