  1. Interesting. Thanks..I will post picture of my fix after I get it done.
  2. Is that the plug going to the wipers itself as mine is round and very well sealed?
  3. I have all the parts ordered and hope to fix it for good on Friday. Thanks for your help.
  4. Thanks that was great. Do you know if I spliced into the wire and allowed it to back feed the CCM would it provide the correct voltage to the CCM and maybe help other outputs on other CCM areas?
  5. Frank. Thanks for your earlier post about this. I checked and I have 3.7 volts at the steering wheel and also at the smart-wheel positive wire leaving the CCM. So I ordered the 12V to 5V converter that was suggested for $14 from Amazon and I will install it when it arrives. Do feed the 5 volts positive and negative into the wire by splicing it in so that it feeds both the smart wheel wire and back feeds the CCM output smart wheel wire also? Or just cut the wire and not back feed back into the CCM? Thanks for all your knowledge and willingness to share it.
  6. I don,t think so as it looks like it is the CCM system. I am not sure what your system would look like.
  7. Gary The start/stop switch looked in great shape and it ohmed just fine so I don't think that is it, but it might be. Garry I have electric contact cleaner so maybe I will take the smart wheel switch apart and spray some in there to see if they clean up.
  8. On 2009 Holiday Rambler Navigator Bismark 4 my windshield wipers stopped working. First the low/high button would not work but the intermittent button would work and the washer button. Then they all stopped working and I don't have any wipers. Both of the fuses are good (CCM fuse and board fuse). I took the wiper motor out and opened it up and all looks great inside. I turned the armature a few turns and all was free and it opened the park switch. I plugged it back in and the motor returned to the park position but I could never get it to move again. I took the buttons on the steering wheel apart and all the LED's at each button have their lights on. I tested the two cube relays in the CCM area and they are both good. I don't have a CCM reader to see any of the codes and wanted to purchase a CCM code reader but I cant find where to get one. We really don't have any repair shops for motor homes in our area so I wanted to just own my own CCM reader.
  9. The 09 navigator does not have that cabinet. Thanks Thanks I will dig deeper
  10. My 09 holiday Rambler Navigator has a overhead front window fan that blows air down onto the front window. It is quite noisy and I am trying to find it to lube it up but I can not find how to get to it. Any help out there?
  11. What type of control pad do you have in the cab to control your leveling after you park? If it is a Valid system then I can help you out as I am having the same problem and it was the "travel" solenoid valve.
  12. I would not effect the overfilling of the tank, as it is not connected to the pressure side of the water system. It only changes the suction side of the water pump from the freshwater tank to the antifreeze holding tank.
  13. I picked up a used 09 Navigator with the ISX 650 and 80,000 miles about 3 months ago. On the way south for the winter I dropped the number 6 valve and totally destroyed the engine. It has been at Cummin's in Las Vegas for the last month and a half getting a completely new engine at the tune of over $70,000. So much for a good deal on the home. We believe that this home set in Florida through a few bad storms and had not been ran for several years. Cummin's said that the entire engine has rust throughout it and was not rebuild-able. When it is all said and done we will be about at the retail price on NADA only do to the fact that we where well below to start with. But we will have a new engine with a complete warranty. The take home message is a motor home with a diesel pusher engine and lots of mileage on it just might be a better deal in the long run as these big engines like to be run and run a lot. 2024 will be a year of travel for sure.
  14. I had a 2005 imperial and that valve was the winter antifreeze valve. I had a 3 gallon holding tank that held antifreeze and when I changed the switch over the door to :winterize" it would operate that valve to the antifreeze tank from the water holding tank and pump antifreeze throughout the home.
  15. So Frank this would be the same for my HR Navigator also? As I don't have a Dynasty. Thanks
  16. My dash is different than your top picture but the bottom picture looks the same as mine.
  17. I have seen some great electrical diagram for other models of motorhomes on this blog and I am looking for the ones for my homes model. 2009 Holiday Rambler Navigator Bismarck 4. Thanks
  18. Rik. It is located in the front cargo bay up under the removable cover that screws to the lower sides of the frame rails. So it is between the frame rails in the front cargo bay.
  19. Here are a few pictures of the fan and fuse. I found that I did have a added wire coming from the dash to bypass the fuse and relay. After replacing the burnt out fan and fuse it works great and correctly. Thanks for all the advise group.
  20. The old fan did run slow, even when the fuse was blown. I also noticed that there is an extra wire connected to the wires just before the fan plug that might be coming from the dash. I will disconnect that extra wire and see if that solves the problem. Now that I replaced the fuse it might just work fine. They put the fuse box in the worst place ever up under the cover in the front cargo bay. not easy to get to at all.
  21. My 09 Navigators AC fan between the front tires always runs regardless if the AC is no or not. Do others also have that same issue? You turn on the key and the fan starts.
