Martinvz
I am looking for some guidance with a new gremlin. The windshield wipers have recently become hyper-active and will wipe the windshield even though the wiper control on the steering stalk is set to off. I had to move the coach this morning and nothing resolved it: Turned the ignition off Changed the wiper settings and then back to off Turned the chassis battery disconnect to off and waited an minute before turning it on again So I move the coach the 10' and turned the ignition off. 3 minutes later I moved the coach back to the position it was at originally and guess what, the wipers were stationary. Returning last week it also happened and as we were departing after hitching the toad, the wipers did not come on again. I like intermittent wipers but this puts a completely new definition to it. Any wisdom anyone can share and guidance where to search.
FLynes
Martin, as we discussed on the phone, I'm really thinking that the multifunction switch is bad. Here's the link for the replacement: https://www.workhorseparts.com/25111446-Turn-Signal-Lever-(Headlamp,-Cruise,-Windshield-Wiper-Washer)?search=turn signal&description=true
Solution Martinvz Posted July 16, 2023 Author Solution Share Posted July 16, 2023 Thanks Fred. Looks like I can replace the multi-function switch and not the complete control arm. And save $50, sweet.
