CTerry
My fan control has four positions knob. No air on the first two, lower speed positions. Works fine on the second two positions, the higher speed. I am hoping someone has had this problem and can tell me if it is the switch or the fan motor itself. Both are fairly difficult to get to but was hoping someone could lead me in the right direction so I don't wind up doing both, Thanks for any help. Keamyinc
I have the exact same problem on my 2002 Windsor. It was like that when we bought it this spring and I haven’t got around to it as we are living in it parked for the summer. So I’m very interested in knowing the issue myself. WALeonard
Considering the effort and expense to gain access, I would really consider doing both. The major expense is gaining access not the parts.
michaelivan
I had the same issue with the resistor. It is fairly easy to access. Here are the links to the repair that I used. https://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/dash-a-c-blower-speed-switch-117793.html https://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/a-c-resistor-pack-on-a-windsor-302094.html I ordered the resistor online from Radio Shack. Now have all 4 speeds. Edited June 20, 2020 by michaelivan
