  1. I have difficulty believing an Executive did not come with illuminated grab handles?  Are you sure they are not?  I just replaced the LED's in my two interior grab handles a few days ago as one burned out and the other was flickering.   Your step looks like it was replaced?  It should have a light also.

I just noticed the little lights on the side of the step well, do they work?

  2. Correction, I had the SeeLevel I on the last coach.  I had some accuracy issues with SeeLevel I and replaced one of the outside sensors which didn't really fix the problem.  The SeeLevel II may have corrected those types of problems,

  3. I take 60 to/from Globe & ShowLow through the Salt River Canyon with my 45' towing a pickup and don't consider it a problem at all.  There is no length restriction and Semi Trucks run the road all the time.  It is twisty and slow and beautiful but no problematic switchbacks.  I also take 188 to Globe from the 260, it is all paved and a decent road that goes past the Roosevelt Dam.

You do not want to take 288 through Young or 191 through Hannigan Meadow or 88 through Tortilla Flat.

I use Cummins Insite alongside of Silverleaf when driving.  I put the Ugly Fix on and Insite showed the EGR valve still operated normally.  I called Ugly Fix and tested the module which checked OK.  They say the EGR valve is not closing all the way on startup.  I ran the Insite EGR valve test which shows it is opening and closing 100%.  My opinion is that there are Ugly Fix users that have no idea that it is doing nothing as there is no way to tell without using Insite.

daveyjo, have you checked to make sure the 12 vdc pump is working?  Ours did the same thing, crank like crazy and plenty of fuel in  the tank.  It was the electric "pick-up" pump.  Our problem is not constant and have not had it fixed, I think it's a relay, so we had a switch installed to get 12 vdc to the pump to use when we need it.  Our pump will work fine for months then for no reason it doesn't.  Good thing we have the switch.

My 12.5 Onan was intermittently not powering the fuel pump, it ended up being the Onan $800 control board.  While troubleshooting it I discovered quite a few folks have put a fuel pump switch in rather than spend the $$.  I think that is a great solution if you do not have Automatic Generator Start (AGS).  I have AGS which I use a lot and didn't see a way to put a switch in which would allow AGS operation.  Perhaps someone has figured out the wiring to activate it with a relay??

    Woody, where is the pump?

    Dave

Pump is aft of the fuel filter,  should be a small cover, lower rear roadside,  which allows access to the pump.  I replaced the Onan pump with an Airtex E11032 fuel pump. https://airtexasc.com/expert-garage/counterfeit-parts/

  6. Wire brush for most or a wire wheel, you have to take the nut and wire off to clean underneath.  I use brake cleaner to remove oil/grease on the frame.  I like to spray battery sealant on the battery terminals once the cables are reattached to prevent gas from escaping through the case where the terminal comes through and causing corrosion.  Every switch terminal, bulkhead terminal and frame ground has to be cleaned.  Don't forget the front run box and generator cables,  wire brush for them.  If there is green or corrosion going into a terminal lug I cut the end off & replace it or make a new one.  A poor connection will not fix itself.

I do not advocate any spray other than the battery.  The earlier  mention of water in a connector is different, WD-40 = Water Displacement 40.  Electrical Contact Cleaner works for plugs and receptacles.

My Exhaust  brake works when applied ... but even if I downshift manually the transmission will upshift when it hits a certain rpm ... then I apply my brakes to reduce the speed and keep the Exhaust brake on !
The brakes ..drums shoes , the entire system was replaced last year.
This has caused a few hair raising times and some hot brakes ..... Is there a problem with the system or am I doing something wrong ?
This is on a 2002 38 foot windsor with 62000 miles ,,, transmission has been serviced at the same times as brakes were done !
    Thanks in advance !!

As others say it sounds like it is acting normal.  Have you lubed the exhaust brake?  Pac Brake Lube   Exhaust Brake info
