  1. Can anyone advise how you can lower the angle pitch of the awning down toward the ground. My awning came with the setting in the lowest hole which seems to be the lowest pitch but it sticks straight out from base parallel to the ground.  There are five or six holes above the one it's in??

  2. Richard, don't do anything to change it and don't update. They are not supporting since 2017. Spoke with Adam, the developer and android didn't like his ad choice and locked him out of their platform. Only ios and iPad.

  3. Are they knowing something we are not. With the evident downturn in the economy and a slowing sales of large ticket items as well as the decade its going to take us to crawl back from this virus, are they seeing something different.  The Rv market was on the rise but then the poop and fan scenario where do you think our industry is headed. I already heard parts are going to be sparse because of shipping from China etc.

  4. Thanks all great info really helpful again.  I purchased the 20 in 20lb only because it tends to park slightly forward tilt to allow water to run. I know but it's less than 1°.  I hope the 20 lb isn't too much but I can always keep that as my spare and order and easily replace with a lighter compression.  I'll send pix when done. Has anyone figured a way of doing it inside like the scissor instead of outside under the awning?

  5. A little while back I saw an article that I cannot find, about someone replacing their scissor door opener with a hydraulic piston type Amazon Camco. I ordered a 20 inch 30 lb exactly how it was described in the discussion and I cannot for the life of me figure out how there is enough room to use this application on my 07 diplomat. Pictures and or a description would be greatly appreciated if in fact it is doable. Thanks again for the help guys and everyone stay safe from covid-19

  6. Joe, good info but I'm having a pro hitch guy so it. I I've been full time for 5 years Rving 13 and 3 different vehicles. Never as much as a loose nut. This was a fluke I hope. Unless the last guy over torqued or didn't Tighten enough but this plate was on 2 years with no issues or loose anything. Shit just happens I guess.

  7. This shop has a great rep and is going to give me factory specs to show the vehicle is back to new plus lifetime on all work done. They do auto and sister company all pro does larger truck Rv etc.  All toll it will probably be 6 weeks leave of to pick up. Geico wouldn't total... Vehicle has too high a retail value.

  8. Here are after pix. Notice green markings by body shop indicating points of interest where stress or damage occurred.

Don't know the mfg of the baseplate it was put on in CA after someone hit my front end. Mercury Ins paid for the complete repair then that was their insurance. Never thought to ask assuming it's auto specific it had to be right.

The current state is worse than the occurrence. They took it apart to diagnose.  I too picked up all the pieces and drove from San Diego to Scottsdale Glendale AZ not attached to the rig.
