Wow you just discovered a new way to troubleshoot these units.

    Smart!

Any issues getting the furnace/Aqua Hot working on the new CC2?

    No, did you?

  2. 2004 Dynasty Diamond 4

Just installed three new Dometic Penguins  and  their  corresponding thermostat. Other than getting  them on the roof it was a pretty easy install. One of the ACs was considerably louder than the other 2 By about 10 decibels. (Free Sound Decible Meter on Play Store)

I pulled the outer shround, removed the styrofoam fan cover, and then the hard plastic fan cover. I could see where the squirrel cage was rubbing on the hard cover.  Loosened the set screw holding the squirrel cage to the motor shaft, moved it in about 3/16 of an inch, tightened the set screw, reattached everything and no more noise caused by the squirrel cage rubbing on the shroud.

Hopefully will help others with a similar issue.

  3. We recently converted to another system and have 2 Big Boys in working condition.  $100 for both plus shipping or pickup in Phoenix.

We also recently replaced our deteriorating MCD wheel cover track with a track system from Sailrite.

After replacing the tracks we came across another motorhome that had the tracks but no covers. Purchased the tracks from the owner for $100.  Of the 12 pieces only one is damaged.  Will sell for what we paid plus shipping or pickup in Phoenix

We have the tire/wheel covers that were made by MCD.

All the covers are in great shape but a lot of the sliding track in the wheel wells needs replacement. MCD no longer makes this product and has no suggestions for track  replacement.

Our searches have come up dry.

Anyone have any idea where we might purchase the track that the covers slide into?

    Track picture attached.

    Thanks

  5. 2004 Monaco Dynasty. Found 2 of these on the ground in front of the passenger's drive tire.

They are made of hard plastic. Any idea what they are?

I am thinking they blew in from someone's trash.20230304_094946.thumb.jpg.16bcbf6ab2518293043c343ab1c3b6d2.jpg20230304_094946.thumb.jpg.16bcbf6ab2518293043c343ab1c3b6d2.jpg20230304_095138.thumb.jpg.c2ce7d9f08992c41655be73eb3bd7c64.jpg20230304_095151.thumb.jpg.769306fd6c88c85af9f25448f77bc144.jpg

Out of curiosity, do you have pics? It Would be nice to compare and see what it looks like on our coaches. Might give you an idea of the solution if we take pics, or at least get us under our coaches to make sure we don’t have an issue.

    Sorry no pics.

  7.

Sorry fir the duplicate post. Don't see how to delete one of them.

    2004 Monaco Dynasty.

Front drivers side air bag blew. When I removed the blown air bag I could see where the shock has rubbed on the bag  causing it to blow.

After installing the new air bag the shock is still rubbing on the new bag.(The passenger shock has plenty of room and is not rubbing on the air bag). The welded to the frame stud is not long enough to add spacers yo move the shick away from the bag and still have room to attach the nut to the stud.

Any thoughts on how to fix are appreciated.

Do  they make an extension that can be added to the existing stud?

Cut the stud and weld on a longer stud if it can be found?

Cut the stud off drill a hole and attach a bolt on stud?

Thanks in advance for any and all ideas.

Possibly you are confusing their Power Watchdog with their Voltage Boosters.

The Hughes Voltage Booster which this thread is discussing has no ability to shut down power to the coach when the neutral is missing.

Here is the link to their voltage booster. 50 Amp Voltage Booster with Surge Protection - Hughes Autoformers

They sell other devices called Power Watchdogs which will monitor the quality of the shore power. Power Watchdog - The World's First Smart RV Surge Protector - Hughes Autoformers

My bad, yes we have a power watchdog
