  1. So I have a serious problem. My alternator isn't charging my batteries. I am by st louis, mo. Heading to decator, il. Going to rev group to hopefully do a tour and to get the ol' girl a good once over. Anyone know where i can get another alternator or a repair shop that can help me.
  2. Seems like a samsung fridge is for the win.
  3. Well thank you. I will need to look harder. I guess I wasn't putting in the correct keywords. I know an electric would be nice but the feel and enjoyment of a true wood burning stove just makes the night in winter, while enjoying hot chocolate with the family or watching a movie or tv show with the wife.
  4. I am looking for a cub or the grizzly which ever, i am just tired of using my propane furnace to heat my rv as it uses soooo much fuel. They are for inside. But they are designed very well and i feel safer with it than the furnace and the norcold fridge.
  5. I am in search of a cubic mini stove. If anyone is selling i am buying
  6. Will do. Hopefully they can tell me which model as mine have lost all info on them. Will do. If not hopefully i can find a brand that makes a similar model that would work.
  7. Does anyone know who made the air suspension system on the '99 Diplomats? I have a leaking airbag on the Driverside, a very tiny hole and will most than likely going to need a replacement.
  8. Trucklite makes several 2 wire amber and red led marker lights. They are bright and easily replaceable when burned out.
  9. yea, I just wish they labeled them so I could put the addon in instead,
  10. thats weird as its a straight line across not two rows
  11. Thank you, and I did see those, I was meaning the black connector with red wires. I hunted it down but it goes through a loom of other wires shortly after the connector and is lost. There is no printed information on the wires either. photo 2, That's not what I was hoping for, I very much hate having extra connectors for no reason especially when the connector isn't on a schematic, labeled, or connected to something. photo 3 I have seen this connector a lot across this RV especially in the dash components. I was hoping it is was for a heat pump or something. I was really hoping someone with the same Monaco or similar had a picture or wiring diagram that included all these wires. photo 4, I do know it's for a relay, I just do not have it in my schematics. photo 5, funny you say this and then ask about the modded wiring in a later post. I will answer all together. Continuation from my statement of photo 5, The RV from what I know isn't wired for a brake controller, they have a combiner on the back to simplify the rv brake connections down to the 4 pin connection that most trailer use. Then someone prior to me used the grey jacketed wires in photo 1 to add the ability for a 7 pin connector on the back end of the rv, with the ability to use a brake controller. The grey wiring is going away, I am rewiring it to go to a actual fused, pinned point on the board and to a normal ground. this will allow for cleaner look... unless someone knows more about that connector and can tell me that it's for a brake controller. Lastly hopefully they can tell me where those wires lead to.
  12. My main distribution panel on my Monaco Diplomat looks like a drunk person built it. I have three or four connectors I have no idea where they go or if they go to anything. Also I have just a messy box. Any information would be great. I looked on my schematics but just like the rest of this RV, nothing is marked with number codes or stickers.
  13. thank you all for the help I was able to pull it apart and repair it.
  14. Thank you. and yes I saw that same website. I was hoping that someone had a bit more knowledge as two what exactly it does. I noticed that the heater/ a/c controls are from a 90s ford so was hoping that there was a correlation between them and this.... but thank you for the help I really do appreciate it. I did know that it would be obsolete but even if it wasn't, the board doesn't come with the connectors that are connected to it.
  15. I have a question as I am trying to fix what a rat ate. I have an on going post on here about the restoration of my 1999 monaco diplomat and am working on the dashboard. The wonderful rats that decided to eat the wiring felt the need to eat the wires about as close to the connectors as possible. I am having to replace a few connectors and a board that I have no idea on. The board has some numbers on it, 305-2537 REV D and what I found it to be was a servo controller. I just do not know what it is for. Any help would be awesome. Thank you all.
  16. I had removed my two front seats from the RV, not the captain chairs, and the seats were damaged and worn but these stands are good and useable. I am just looking for some to take them off my hands but if not they will most likely go to the scrap yard. I am hoping to get like $10 for them. I am in Junction City, KS.
  17. Most likely they do not want us using the LED in the old halogen cases as the lenses are inefficient and are unable to scatter the light in the right direction. LED's are good for projection or reflector style headlights not the reflector with the scatter lens on them. I have LED's on most of my other vehicles but they all use a clear lens. Even my military equipment has a clear lens with either a projector or a reflector in them.
  18. I created a blog to build on what I have here. I will be cross posting what I have here to there. Military RVers
  19. I just started the blog but, I have alot of posts that will be past, many new posts that are current, and hopefully future posts that show a fun and enjoyable way of life. Military RVers
  20. Yea... it's starting to look that way. The wife is more inclined to even leave Martha here now and come back in June to pick her up. Securing a site on post is a no go. The on post rv lots are seasonal and they do not allow you to stay there for more than 60 days. Thank you. But unfortunately, it seems the wife would rather live in on post housing even though we miss being full timers. I truly believe I can make Martha hot and toasty in the winter and be fully self sufficient without the need to bundle up inside as that is her biggest scare.
  21. So I am looking at my headlights and they are very dim. Plus they are yellowed out and just not what I am going for in this RV. Since I am remodeling the inside, I might as well remodel the out as well. I have an 08 Suburban that I have already done a headlight upgrade too and kept the originals for when or if I ever sell her. Well today I was looking and you wanna know what? The Suburban original headlights are just about the right size, now yes there is a bit of a difference and there will need to be a bit of hacking and sawing to get them to fit but they are almost spot on. The only foreseable problem is the extra plug-ins. Also they are a bit thinner than the originals width wise. So I will need to fill in a bit of the difference. What do you guys think?
  22. I have already called them. They are seasonal and do not allow full time rvers.
