  1. Can we assume you checked fuses?

    FRB and they are marked

PS act //DS act for driver side, passenger side actuators...until you blow one you would probably not know what those markings are.  Pretty sure the fob box gets power off ignition and the fuses are only from the actuators.  Been a while since I dealt with that issue.

After you get things working suggest you fashion a wire from the actual lock behind the black cover down to the bottom of the door so you can open when the handle breaks on those pantographic door.  I used coated fishing leader wire with double ferrules. A loop at the bottom taped to the door below the weather seal will give you access for the next great event.  Especially for the utility bay so your departure is not delayed, or any other door that you can't crawl through.  I did all of mine as unloading for the crawl is a major event, very entertaining for other campers.

Test them ahead of time to make sure ferrules don't slip it takes a really good pull to release, eespecially if an actuator is binding.

  2. This happens when in extremely cold weather.  I worked in Yellowstone for several years and the incoming water temp is about 38 degrees!  Best thing you can do with that cold water is keep your tank full and use the water pump.  The tanks will get the water "warmer" just from Aqua Hot heat in the compartment.  When we get there in mid April a shower is just about all hot water, very little cold, even with diesel and electric on.  Try this before monkeying with an otherwise normal AQH.

Best solution...head South.  Except it's 25 degrees here in Mid-Florida this morning.  Brrrrr  global warming!

  3. https://www.rvschool.com/

Oldest RV driving school in the USA.  Lots of locations.  Many Instructors will come to you, or meet you half way for an additional fee.  Many are full time and will stop/route somewhere on the way to do a lesson.  They will be at FMCA Perry, GA in 2023 and offer lessons there too.  Lots of options if you ask.

Disclaimer:  I have been a Driver Trainer with the school for ten years.  Met lots of great folks and have put lots of Grandmas SAFELY on the road.  Women almost always do better because they listen. 👩‍🎓

  4. First and easiest push the low voltage reset button on the control panel in AquaHot bay.   Use a non conductive stick.  Mixed drink small straw works great.  You are pushing on a micro switch on a PC board so be easy, should feel a little click.  Not instant heat, takes an hour plus depending on which AQ model you have.

Please post a coach year and model in your signature line for better answers, and WELCOME  😀

  5. Montana Is a big state...there is a HUGE truck yard just north of Idaho Falls https://holsttruck.com/

They also have a shop that does just about everything.  It may be cheaper to flat bed the RV to them and get it done right.  Closer to home for sure.

I have always felt like if I had to do this I would tell them to cut out the rear fiberglass and pull the engine with a fork lift. deal with a little glass and paint work after.  Most shops just say on to mohos, make it easy and you might find a deal.

  7. 2006 Dynasty rear axle air brake chamber is kaput...will not release brakes on pass side.  I am pretty good on chasing down part numbers but can not find this one.  Lots of choices based on length of rod, etc.  I can't be the first one to have one fail.

On the road in a campground and trying to not have a mobile truck guy make extra trips for parts.

    Thanks

  8. That looks like an Airtex that was relabeled.  3-6 is all it takes to run the gen.  You are lucky the original lasted this long.  They are a made in Mexico item.   I have replaced mine a couple of times, but have 4,600 hours on the gen.

Always carry a spare because they usually fail in high temp or high altitude cold environs.  Lots of fun changing then 😬😬

PS...usually get a code tha says change $600 control board...always change fuel pump first!

  9. SNOWFLAKES...my only reason for responding to Richard was because our floorplans are the same and the year.  There are at least 4 different configs on rear Bedroom TV mountings that I have seen for this year and model..  While the chassis is sort of similar among Sig,Exec, and Dyn for 2006 there are differences there too as far as airbag spacings on the front and others depending on big engines, or ISL.  Our kids had an 06 Diamond IV only 100 VINs apart and we constantly found things different.

Another thing to consider is that during the Oregon coach built 2000's there were a LOT of special order coaches.  You could go to the factory and they would let you pick paint, interior fabrics, woods, even a MID DOOR plan.  The factory Rallys were fun...spare parts for free, work for free, spin the wheel multi Thousands discounts on new coaches, etc.  Would still like to find that mid door.  We had just purchased a 99 Safari Continental and saw the Sig in Tenn at the big dealer there, wife would not go for the trade.

Some wealthier folks would change every year, sometimes on the whim of colors.  Ours was special ordered and factory pickup by a couple that sold after a year to build a house and play golf in the Villages after selling a business.  Sig paint scheme, wood grain dash/wheel Exec fabrics, 25 cu. ft . Whirlpool fridge, and wall mounted bedroom TV, delete Koolmatic fan, Koni shock, etc.   SNOWFLAKES FOR SURE!

Mike, Unfortunately, the previous owner got "cheapo" when he had the transfer switch replaced so my Aladdin Coach Electrical Status screen is empty of data.

So I can't help you with what our 2006 Dynasty Countess III performs for electrical load balance when our 3 AC's are running.

However, I did install the Progressive Industries EMS-HW-50C just prior to leaving for our Workamping jobs in New Hampshire. But I haven't had the chance to install the A/B Switch and Display A in the Service Bay as yet or even decide where to install Display B inside the coach.

Once that is done, I will have access to the Load Balancing data for the coach. I've been wondering similarly as to how everything is wired, etc.

I don't think the Rear AC and the Splendide Washer/Dryer are wired through any power sharing device because when the rear AC is on and running the Washer/Dryer still has power going to it. Plus, I have found that specific circuit breaker tripped twice now since being parked here at Totem Pole Park in NH.

It sounds like your Intellitec 110v switch is either disconnected or bad.  It should be visible behind the Splendide from the top.  IF...it is working the rear a/c will not be powered when using the Splendide is in use.  It will switch automatically if you forget to turn one or the other off.  The loads 1 and 2 are relatively balanced with this setup, according to Aladdin readouts.  If you wired the rear a/c to front you could have two a/c's 28 amp running, AQH 110 11amp loaded, Sharp convection 28amp Micro for  67 amp plus fridge and any 110in living area use...TV light etc.  Not a good setup.

We have been FT in our Countess for almost 15 years and have found the factory setup pretty usable in most all situations. Currently on 30amp for two months by choice because we have the St. Mary's River out the front window with Lake freighters passing all hours to the Soo Locks.  Cooking, a/c, hot water all a balancing act but well worth it.

Enjoy the "new" coach, agree it is "the" floorplan for FT, still happy after years and 155K mile on this one. 🙂

  11. Pretty much exactly what Tom has outlined above...our experience after 300k miles split over two coaches.  I don't even have a belt on the dash a/c on this one, being in the South and West a lot, dash air is pretty much useless.
