I will be traveling from Yosemite Pines RV campground in Groveland to South Tahoe. Has anybody made this trip? Can’t decide whether to take 49 to 88 or 50. Traveling in a 42 foot beaver, patriot thunder pulling a Jeep Wrangler. Thanks Kevin

I was just at a FMCA a rally in Oklahoma . They had an Aqua hot service guy there. I’ve always done my own service in the past, but decided to have them service it this time. My canister chamber was cracked and had to be replaced. And they had one on their truck. They also have replacement units. For $6900. They take your old one out and replace it with a rebuilt one. The guys name is DeGerald services 501-258-8426. www.lloydsrvheating.com. They’re out of Paron Arkansas. Seems like a nice guy. He said I could call him anytime if I had any issues.

I reversed my slide topper material four years ago still looks good today. That wasn’t my intent when I started the project I just wanted to see if I could get the material off before I ordered new material. That’s when I discovered the material on the roller looked like brand new.

Does anybody have the Garnet sea level 2 tank monitoring system? It’s the Bluetooth version with only one monitor . I have an app on my phone that shows me the tank levels. I’ve had mine for about 3 years now. I only monitor fresh water, gray water, black water, and battery voltage. The first year I had it the monitor went bad and it was still under warranty. They sent me a new one and it has worked up until now. Now the monitor works but the Bluetooth app doesn’t. I’ve talk to technical support and they say there’s something wrong with the monitor. It’s not connecting to the Bluetooth. And it’s out of warranty and they want me to buy a new one. Anybody else out there experience this problem? Thanks Kevin

Sorry for the confusion I’m not having any problems. I’m in the process of replacing my 17 year old whirlpool residential refrigerator. Six months ago the icemaker quit working now the refrigerator stopped cooling. It’s time to go. I am replacing it with a KitchenAid KRSC703HPS. I’ve removed the old one by removing the doors to the refrigerator and taking it out the front door of the RV. I checked that extra plug shown in the picture for voltage. No AC or DC I’m assuming it was pre-wired for something else. I have made a of couple modification to the new install. I added a filter to the backside of the vent. When I remove the old refrigerator, there was a lot of dust and dirt behind it. This should help. I also added a half inch piece of insulated styrofoam board to the outside wall. Thanks, Kevin.

I had that problem when I first purchased our coach. My fill hose had a pressure reducing valve that was faulty. I took it off and everything worked.

If you have any built-in water filters you should remove them Before adding the bleach.

I had the exact same problem about a month ago. I had my wife inside the coach while it was running to tell me if the buzzer went off. As I was filling it I heard a clicking noise must’ve been the switch that activates the alarm immediately after that she was yelling that the alarm went off. I hope yours is that simple.

I have to take my door apart at least once a year and spray everything down with silicone spray. Sometimes it doesn’t last a year and I get away with spraying silicone in and around the door handle and the door latch.

I bought one at Radiator Supply House1460 47TH AVENUESWEET HOME, OR 97386 . That was two years ago still going strong.

Mine is located in the cabinet above the passenger seat

It’s been a few years but yes I have.It wasn’t that difficult their technical support is really good. I travel from Kansas City to Denver frequently and experience Crosswinds it definitely helps. It’s also supposed to help with a front tire blowout but I’ve never experienced that.

Sorry for the delay took me a while to get the information. I bought the Splendide WDV2200XCD at camping world for around 1500. It was an easy swap out basically plug and play

I bit the bullet and bought a new one. If I ever get around to figure out what’s wrong with mine I might sell it I will keep you posted.

It looks pretty straightforward removing it there’s a drain plug on the bottom ,four bolts and a 12 V sensor is it that simple?

I have a 2006 Beaver Patriots thunder with three point Power Gear hydraulic jacks. My reservoir tank is leaking. I called Lippert And they said they don’t make that tank anymore . But they do make a replacement it’s a square tank not round like mine. And they weren’t 100% sure it would work. I haven’t been to the RV yet to see if the square tank will fit. I was just wondering if anybody else has had this type of problem. Thanks Kevin

Thanks for everybody’s input. I’m meet a guy in the campground that lives in Placerville. He suggested taking 120 out of Groveland to 99 to 50. That adds about 75 miles to the trip. I think I’m gonna go with Rick suggestion 120 to 49 to 88. That’s also a route on the DOT bus route. Slow and easy. Thanks
