  1. The other night my wife was doing a load of wash while in the drying stage it sounded like someone shot a gun off behind our coach. I went outside to inspect and didn’t find anything or anybody .The next morning my wife was doing another load of wash and found a A piece of metal in the washer and asked me if it was important. after inspecting the wash machine I found more pieces come to find out my wife left a BIC lighter in her pocket and it blew up in the washer. After I cleaned everything up she continued using the washer about an hour later she says the washer was leaking out of the bottom of the coach. It wasn’t leaking a lot it was leaking in the drain pan and the drain pan was draining out the bottom of the coach like it supposed to. My question is does anybody know what the problem could be before I pull the unit out. My wife says what’s the big deal it’s less water in our gray tank lol.

  2. Thanks for all the info. I haven’t had a lot of time to figure out what’s wrong. I was hoping it was just gonna start working again like I did last time. If I figure out what it is I will post on here what the problem was. I don’t use it very often only when backing in on asphalt or concrete in a tight situation

  3. I’m not sure I have Aqua hot system. No hot water tank. A friend of mine has a small camper. He sanitizers his the same way I do. Just runs the hot water until he smells bleach and let it sit for four hours and then flush is it all out. I am not sure if that’s right or not but that’s how he does it .

  4. Two years ago I went to a reputable caterpillar dealer. They did a full service oil, fuel, Hydraulic, coolant, and general inspection. When I got home after picking it up i back in my driveway I hit the tag button to raise the tag and the tag would not go up. I called the caterpillar dealer and they said they did nothing with the tag in the work that they did. Couple weeks later the tag axle started working. Last year I had a different mechanic do the same service got home tag axle worked. Went to the caterpillar dealer this year same service got home the tag axle‘s not working. I haven’t called them because they’re probably gonna tell me the same thing they told me last time. Any ideas what could be causing this. C13

  5. I originally installed my monitor in the wet bay. And after six or eight months it stop working must’ve gotten wet at some point. Garnet replaced it under warranty. When I received the new one I decided to install it inside. I very seldom use the monitor I always turn on the app to check my tank levels.  The picture is a screenshot of the app I’m not at the coach otherwise it would show me the tank levels.1860FF6D-6ECA-42B3-AFF5-83E1312729BC.thumb.jpeg.6aa74bab19280a026ad4c7df84323e7d.jpeg

  6. Not sure what inverter you have I just installed one last winter and I went with the BMK by magnum. I installed the Shunt and module in the battery compartment and put the module in a weatherproof electrical box. I looked into Victron shunt and After reading others that had installed them I opted not to use that. It had something to do with the Bluetooth capabilities. I think the one I installed is awesome I know exactly what the batteries Capacity is  and I know exactly how many amps are being drawn from the batteries at any given time. Hope this helps

  7. Yes the downside of mudflap is you have to go inside with your code. It’s the same as the TSD card it doesn’t show the discount at the pump. You’ll get an email or you can check the app later in the day and it will show the price that you paid. Also we’ve been using an Amazon credit card my wife says we get 5% discount on top of that. I haven’t actually seen the credit card bill to verify that. I don’t mind walking into the truckstop it’s nice to get out and walk around after you’ve been on the road. When we were out west this last summer didn’t seem like you got a very good discount at mudflap. But in the Midwest it seem to have a lot of locations where it was better than the TSD card. I’ve only been doing this for four years and travel about 4 to 5,000 miles a year but in that time I’ll pay a nickel more to go to a truckstop than a regular gas station. We plan  our stops around breakfast or lunch and there’s plenty of parking at a truckstop usually. The only time I use a regular gas station is when I’m at home there’s a Casey’s that’s an easy and easy out. When I have to top off before I hit the road.

  8. I have a TSD card I use about 50% of the time the other 50% of the time I use an app called mudflap. It’s basically the same thing as the TSD card but you don’t have to give them your checking account information unless you want to. If you go that route it’s only about a 1% savings so I don’t bother with the checking account I just let them run it through my credit card. I found out about mudflap when pumping gas I was next to a trucker and he showed me his app and how much he was paying for gas it was about $.10 cheaper than I was paying with the TSD card.

  9. Wow all that information about  identifying a ride height control LOL.  when I get back to my coach I’m going to measure the right height.  then dump all the air including the front and rear air tanks and see how low she’ll go.

  10. I changed out my front AC unit. First thing I did was get the model number off the unit.I called Dometic to find out what model I needed to swap it out with. They gave me the model number and told me that my five button thermostat would not work unless I changed out the board so I went with the new thermostat. I also went with an AC only because we never use the heat pump option on the old one. I also got the model number for the drain pan and purchased that also.           Then I started to research everything online .It was basically an easy swap out.           So I order the unit on Amazon with the drain kit and the new thermostat. When I receive the unit the first thing I looked for was instructions there were none. I called the seller and they told me that’s how it came from Dometic no instructions no hardware.      The drain kit did come with instructions so I started with that. I installed it then I put the unit on the roof and hooked up all the wires the exact same way they were hooked up on the old unit there are two yellow, two blue, one red one black.the two yellow are not used. I hooked up the other four wires. there are two

Telephone cable connections. I only needed one because my Front units is a one zone system for the front of the coach and then hooked up the new thermostat temporarily. Then I hooked up the main power basically the same way the old power on the old unit was hooked up.Everything worked properly.  I have an aqua hot system and it was not showing up on the thermostat. So at this point I figured I needed some instructions and called Dometic. they emailed me instructions. after that it was pretty easy other than making sure you line up the ductwork.

  11. I’ve looked on other forms and have read issues with the ABS and the ATC light coming on.  The other day I was having the same issue my ABC light was on the ATC light was on and my Aladdin engine status was going crazy. The camera would come on without hitting any buttons and it would switch from right to left then rear. I would switch it back to engine status drive another 5 miles and the camera would start going crazy again. I pulled over checked all the fuses got back in the RV was getting ready to get the book out turned it on and all the lights were out everything is working normally. I’ve driven it about another hundred miles and everything is normal. I’m getting ready for a long trip and if it does it again was wondering if anybody has had this issue. Thanks Kevin

  12. I replaced mine three years ago and purchased them on eBay I have had zero failures. As far as removing them. Most of them I was able to turn the glass and replace them. I hade four or five that I had to pry down with a putty knife and pull them out of the ceiling. They also work as a dimmer. I have three puck lights underneath the hall vanity that I forgot to replace I could never figure out why my middle air conditioner would run all the time during the day. Finally figured out that the three vanity lights we’re producing enough heat to kick on the air conditioner because the sensor for the air conditioner is underneath right by the vanity lights. Replaced them with LED never had that issue again. https://www.ebay.com/itm/YITAMOTOR-10-50X-G4-Base-Pin-Reading-Marine-Boat-LED-Light-Bulbs-Pure-Warm-White-/251621202168?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0

  13. I’ve owned the coach for four years never really thought about it before. I replaced my TV about three years ago I don’t remember seeing a plug like that plugged into the old TV. Still haven’t found the other end of it. When I bought it had an old satellite dome  dish on top that the dealer took off. Everything electronically works that I use. At some point before I owned it it had a CB radio and a Wilson Wi-Fi booster.
