What i know, if your planning on removing your radiator then “if its original” plan on replacing it. If its the aluminum version it was no longer avaiable when i did mine last year… they said the electrolisis is was killed them. So i used the source in oregon an he had one built for me, if your serious an gonna do this then we need to talk cause i wrote it out an it took FOREVER!!! I got pics an info, im on the west coast so all my info an sources are out this way…
I am also interested in the info you have on replacing radiator on my 2004 Monico Dynasty. any pic and files of what you did would be greatly appreciated..

Just from my experience with dirt or mud dobber whatever you call them. I was a surprise to me on my truck I filled it up with gas burned the tank out that day stopped at my wacation home the next morning left and when I opened the gas cap door there was a dobber nest built that night on the cap.... that's in like 9 hours...

I have the same light and think it's a HWH air system reset but don't know...

Sorry for the first 4 duplicate pictures...
This is what I did on my FASS installation. took the HWH air compressor out from behind the generator and put it behind the FASS filters in a much dryer invionment and much easier access to diagnose and repair...The filters are on a hinge that swings out where you can very easily replace the filters with no mess...

As others said above, mine will do that if I have the generator running and then crank the engine. If I have the engine running and then crank the genny it doesn't do it so I try to stick to that method. Turning on headlights or parking lights makes it go away.
Turning on the lights is a dead giveaway... I talked to a tech at monaco in 2015 he sent me a fix for that will look for it thus coming week.

What's the good bad and Ugly using lithium for house batteries.
1 Will they charge off the Alternator/ Inverter/ Generator
any other equipment needed to convert or is it a bad deal...

If you turn tour headlights on and it goes off. There is a kit that uses a relay that fixes that... I haven't done mine yet because when it happens I just turn on the headlights fir a while then turn them off all good 2004 Monaco Dynasty.

Michael P. And anybody else, have you replaced your gauges with another brand? Anybody recommend a brand for 2001 Monaco dynasty? My tack is accurate and my fuel gauge is accurate but my speedometer is never accurate and the original owner I bought it from said it hasn’t been accurate for a long long time. My amp meter is never accurate. I’m thinking about replacing the dash like Michael P did and while I’m there replacing some gauges. Any thoughts on what I should use for a new gauges?
Bill please call me when you get a chance...

My understanding is that rooftop A/C-Heat pumps will not heat or work at or under freezing temperatures.. I just built a shop to store my 2004 42' Princes Dynasty in that I put Insulated garage doors and 1 1/2" closed spray foam insulation. I am queries what the Temps will stay at this winter. Central Texas 1100 feet above sea level.

Don't forget rubber, all your hoses if original are 20 years old. I went through all the engine coolant hoses, including dash heater and aquahot. Also intercooler boots. upgraded to silicon. A little more expensive but cheap insurance and never worry about it again. A blown hose can lead to a bad day real quick. Pretty easy to find even the pre-bent pieces.
I have been wanting to do this...You are correct on a little expensive but Great insurance..My question is where did you find them and were the heater hoses also silicon???

There was another thread discussing an electrical problem and the subject of inspection cameras came up. A little off topic.
I suggested this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/264797559966?hash=item3da72a1c9e:g:6ucAAOSwcLBfClPA
I didn't have one so I decided for the cost it would be worth trying so I ordered one. It came in today. It is suppose to be for Windows/ iso androdid based phone which I don't have so I hoped it would work on my Microsoft tablet I just got, it didn't, I didn't have access to internet so could investigate adding a device. But I have a Dell Laptop so I tried it, it accepted the device and set it up without a problem. Seems to have pretty good resolution, the camera is lighted so it can look into dark areas, and the cable (5M) is semi rigid so you can push it in (no sure how far.
So looks like a decent value, may not be as easy to handle vs a small display but I tested and I can take a video and then play it back.
I'm going to play with it tomorrow and do an inspection of the AC duct, since I'm installing new AC units it wouldn't hurt to make sure the duct work is clear.
I ordered one today Thanks for the lead I can really use it..

No go buy one at home depo and you may see how it works use an adjustable wrench Make it the size of the hose and push it against the fitting and pull the hose at the same time... look it up on YouTube...

I don't think it a sppe sensor problem. Mine does the same thing and resets... I think it's a problem with the slip ring in the steering wheel...

Hi all,
I'm a new owner of an 2001 executive 43ds. A 500hp cummins with an Allison 6spd. She's in decent shape for her age but I have to be honest. When it comes to electrical.....I'm not the greatest but I'm willing to learn. I bought her to use as a second home while I'm out on job sites working instead of renting an apartment. Plus, I hope to one day retire and I wanted to travel......a win win right? Wrong!!
I'm an old mechanic and I can understand schematics (somewhat) ....
The coach cranks and runs fine.....but she's not charging. I took the alternator off ...a 200 amp leece neville. Had it rebuilt and reinstalled it......nothing. I watched the man bench test this alternator and I know it's working like it should. What am I missing? I know this will be a working project but I didn't realize I would run into something the first week that made me scratch my head and say....huh? I've been reading a lot of posts on here and I'm sure someone knows what I doing wrong.
I have a Monaco and driving down the road sometimes I get the Battery light go on if I turn on my parking lights it goes off... Monaco has a relay kit to fix that I haven't done that but my coach is charging fine...
