Hello all...the bedroom slide on our 2004 Windsor 40PKD does not fully close at the bottom. When you retract the room in it fully closes but when you let off the switch the bottom of the slide moves back out about 3/4-1".
The slide is closed tightly at the top and the gap along the bottom is even. When closed, the body lines are perfect. It's like whatever "brake" should hold the slide in tight isn't applying. It stays in that gapped position during travel i.e. no further creeping out. Also the bed deck does not appear to drag anywhere when slide is in operation.
Any suggestions on how to tackle this? It appears to be an all electric slide with a rack, not hydraulic.
Thanks!

OEM Fleetguard filters off Amazon. There's been a couple sellers selling two pack filters for slightly more than one filter elsewhere. Loaded up on fuel and oil filters 🙂

I ordered the TST system with the flow through caps. For those of you with those caps, are they fine to just attach to the inner dual with a metal valve stem or are you using a rigid extender and rubber grommet?

Just had it done at my body shop while having some rear damage repaired. They said the secret is spraying the 3M down with oven cleaner and letting it sit a couple days. Peeled right off then they cleaned off the residue with plastic razor blades and 3M citrus adhesive remover. Looks soooo much better now!

This speedometer isn’t digital it’s a manual speedo. The dial has a conversion on it so you read the miles/hr on the outside scale and the km/hr on the inner scale. If you have a GPS it might tell you what speed your doing. That way you celebrate the error factor and maybe you could see if the dial face has slipped out of alignment?
Thanks for the reply. The Aladdin and my GPS does register the correct MPH, it's just the speedo itself that's incorrect. I'll inspect the back of the unit for dipswitches and hopefully get lucky that it's set to kmh. Would seem odd since coach has only 14k miles and two owners, near as I can tell was always a US coach.

Thanks for the input...mine isn't dragging on the floor though. When the room operates it's just fine, when you pull it in it sucks all the way in but as soon as you let off the switch the bottom kicks out about an inch while top stays tight.
