  1. Im very dissolutioned with Cummins.  I have a great relationship at the parts counter, but when it comes to mechanical side then things fall apart fast. Working with Cummins in three different states I find that they add about $50 per hour and double the time when it comes to motorhome work because its a little harder to get to. And example with me was a lift pump replacement they quoted me 11 hours to do the job. I  hired my son to do the job. I played gopher. Held a light, got a couple of wrenches, drove him to the parts store to get a gasket,(because cummins did not include it) thing like that. Never did it before no experience. Took 4.5 hours. Now if an experienced mechanic has to take 11 hours to do the job that a person with no experience can do in 4.5 hours something is wrong.  That same job was quoted by 3 different cummins shops in 2 states.

    That's just my experience.

  2. MODERATOR'S EDIT NOTE....

FIRST...  Please download the Parts List and review it carefully. There is a wealth of INFO there and most simple questions like "Where can I get blades for XXXX MH are found there?".

SECOND....Please do some research and do NOT post the same topic...even with the same name. The recent one was merged with this one.  It makes it a lot easier for the Moderators as these had to be merged.

    Thanks.

Were can I get new windshild wipers blades? I've checked all the places that I can think of. I  must be doing something wrong.  Right now I'm getting by with some modifying a pair of car wipers.

    Thanks Guys.

I didn’t know that. It’s a carefree one touch Awing on my 01 Monaco Dynasty I looked on line but couldn’t come up with anything. I may try to call them Monday and see what they think.
    Thanks for the info.

Don't bother. Just went through that. Putting on a new awning, ins. Claim. They sold all the leftover inventory to someone back east and he doesn't have much left.

I'm thinking you mean 'do' plug unused holes.

No, be very careful that you put everything back the way you found them.  I  made the mistake of plugging all the holes.  I am now the proud owner of 3 of those valves.  Thinking they were bad. Finally looked at my old one an located the hole that was never plugged. Opened that hole back and fixed my problem.

  5. Does your air drop down after shutting down? I would lose air in about a 1/2 hour shutdown. I would have to wait for the air to build up before going on. Found a broken 1/4 in line up by the engine valve cover. I got a splice at napa and I was back on the road.  If you chance the Bendix D2 air pressure regulator be sure you don't plug unused holes. I made that mistake. Its easy to do.

    Good luck.

Had toppers (3) done by Stone Vos 3 years ago. Just had 3 window awnings and patio awning done last week. I had them install since we're an hour away but they will ship.

What kind of fabric did you chose?

Would highly recommend contacting Stone Vos also. They will not steer you wrong.

  7. I have a hard time understanding things like this. My coach sits right at 12ft when I'm in the driver's seat my head is close to 9 ft.

I've done my share of stupid.  I  wish there was a driving class close by me, but I don't have that kind of luck. Had my rig close to 7yrs now. 3 minor mishaps. The last one was an awning pole, got too close to a post. New awning & a little fiberglass work. About a $1 bill size.  The other 2 only cost me about $400 combined.

That being said, when driving these big rigs there's a lot to think about when you get stressed or you start enjoying the scenery too much that's when your troubles begin.

I sure hope the injuries were minor.
