How difficult is it to get to the compressor?  You need to recharge the system and add a die. Then with a black light you hopefully can find were the leak actually is. It May be a bad o ring.

In my case the first time around. 

We have an ac supply store here in mesa AZ. I got a 1/4oz. Of dye and put in the compressor.  Large hose, when reassembled use a new o ring.  Recharged the system.  Used a Scorpion light. It's a black light that has about 30 led. Went out after dark & started looking. Sure enough found the leak in the evaporator Bay,  if I remember right it was the dryer. It was a small round canister.  Replaced it and was good to go for 2 years.  Just had about 2 feet of hose Replaced from my compressor.  Put in a splice. When the coach went in to be painted it was still holding.  I  get it back in 2 to 3 weeks.  Hopefully it's still holding.  One of our group lives near me and he had a crimper, and he came out and showed me how to do it.  Really easy to do. Crimper you can get on Amazon for less than $200. I  have been dragging my feet till I get the coach home to thank him. I  believe his name is Jim. AC work is not very hard. All my repairs have been haven't added to $300 yet. Including tools to do the work. 

134A in our part of town just went up to $8.50 for a 12oz can. Our rig takes 5 cans. That's only $45. When looking for a leak I would stop at 3 cans because you will lose it when you do the fix. 

 Gages I bought at Harbor freight.  Vacuum pump I got a autozone and they refund the money when I return it.. The same goes for the gauges. So you don't have to buy a  set if you don't want to.  When you're charging the system the little $20 gauge from Wal-Mart work just great. 

Don't go buying a compressor till you know we're the leak is.😇

Can you tell us what is going on?  Do you have a leak near the connection or in a hose, just not blowing cold? That would help a lot.

What is it doing? 

You won't find anything for a motorhome  Specific. With that being said the system is the same as a car ac. The only difference is the length of the hoses & were the different parts are located.

After taking mine into a very highly rated shop, After almost $600 over 2 trips in 5 days, we made it from the Phoenix to Canyon de Chelly on our way north, before it started blowing hot air again.  

That's when I got on YouTube and started to learn how to do it myself.  You'll save a ton of  💰 . It's not very hard for most of the work.

Should I try this again? Use the pump sprayer to spray it on the areas that need to be cleaned.  Just don't wash it off the sprayer.  Lol.  Should not try to multi task. 

I  was turned on to this stuff from an old Cummings mechanic.  AKA my brother. 

I found that Purple Power works great. Put it a pump sprayer let it sit for 15 to 30 minutes then spray it off with the garden hose. Reapply as needed.  Depending on how bad it is might take a few times.  Cheapest place I have for for the stuff is Walmart.  Works great

This was what we weighed the hay in for our first Jersey cow. Now that the cows are gone it get used for other things. The reason for the names is so when we had people taking care of them while they were gone they would know who got what. Each cow had different needs. 

Was very impressed when I first looked at it,  then I noticed the price.  

This is what I use along with a large funnel.  About $8 at home depot.

That's about right for the price. They close down for the month of August to find cooler places.

If you want them to see it in person you can park at the casino and they will come over. But I  found it wasn't really necessary.

I am interested in getting my RV done. I had an appointmemt for Mike Williams in IN and had to cancel because of COVID.  I tried to reschedule and the price went from 15000 pre COVID to 22000 post COVID.

It would have been the 1st of April but that was before I added the headliner. 

All my cargo door screws were breaking off, & little defamation in the driver rear. Also there was an impact from the previous owner in the rear cap the needed some work.  I  really don't want to post the price because things can change. Call me and I can fill you in a little better. 

Per JD's request here is what I have so far.  

Yes, as you can tell by the pictures so far we got a little on the fancy side, but if you ever see us on the road you will know we're part of the group.  😊

So let me start here, we choose to completely take everything out. Easier to look though the coach at inspection time. Taking guns and or ammo is strictly forbidden. (We didn't want to accidentally leave a bullet laying around) don't think that you can talk your way out of it!

Right after we crossed over into Mexico we were pulled over to the curb.  We had 4 federales checking the cargo bays & 3 going through the inside looking in every cupboards. After a few minutes they invited the dog in to sniff out any contraband. You would think that we were smuggling some of illegals & drugs back into there country, and they would not  want that to happen.  Then they try to have a nice conversation with you & they can't speak English & we don't speak Spanish. That was fun. 

Next was the drive to the shop. Wires all over the place. We're 12ft tall. Wires were scraping the ac & vents. We made a stick to lift Wires if we needed it.  I  had my wife walking in front just incase. Only had 1 wire snag for a moment. That one shook me a little but all in all we made it to the shop with out any major mishap. 

We spent 4 hours picking out colors & some repairs that needed to be done.  Then they drove us back over the border to get our jeep to go home.  You park your get back home car on the American side. $6 for the day. 

Word of warning don't for get your passports & drivers licenses. Also get some Mexico insurance for driving in Mexico. Even though it's only about a mile to the shop, get it. We paid $27 for the day. If something were to happen regardless of fault you will glad you had it. 

Not only the paint job they are also going to replace our headliner. 

You have to remember your dealing with a different culture. You send an email to see how things are going you probably won't get a reply until they actually have something to show you. These pictures are the first reply we got so just be patient and rest assured they are working on it & doing a great job.  I'm more worried about the headliner than I am the paint. 

Before going down we tracked 4 people down who had there coaches done there. Any were from 4 weeks to 5 years ago. Every one said that it was an adventure but would not hesitate to do it again. 

4 colors white was done first. Black was the 2ed color. Each time the whole coach has to be re-mask just for that paint. Then 3 coats of clear. We belive that we are pushing the limits for graphics with our job. 

OK with that said here are the pictures so far. 

PS. They work on a cash basis. So just get used to the idea, if you choose to do it call me and I will explain how to do it so you won't get into trouble with there government.

It's starting to get very exciting!  I talked to the guy who did the taping for the Eagle. He said,  the eagle.     Aye Aye Aye lot of work.

I changed my account from Bob Schmeck to Bob Schmeckpeper  to fix the problem that I was having.  Probably that's why I didn't get it. 

Our 2001 Dip. Is at there shop right now. 2 colors are on & 2 more to go. The work is absolutely wonderful.  To explain the in's and out of the whole process is difficult to explain in writing. If you would like to talk let make arrangements for that.

True & thank you for bringing back on track.  But I did get a few laughs out of it.

We have a 2001 diplomat.  Took it slow and easy. Did not run into any wiring or studs. 

Was sure hoping for better news. Just going to have to wait till they get it open until then its only guess work. Please keep us advised.     

Air is about 75% nitrogen. As soon as you have to use air to fill a tire because you can't get nitrogen, you now have to deflate that tire to refill it with nitrogen because you just lost any advantage that you had in the first place.

This is a test! I  have set up a new account to see what happens.  I  don't want to close my other account since it has information that I will need when our coach gets out of the paint shop, and I don't want to lose it.  So far this  Solution seems to be working. We are going to keep it this way for a few days to see how things go.  Maybe admin can put my reputation score into this account. 🤔

With the door skin pulled back to were you can get to the adjusting nuts, flip the latches latches to the closed position pull the handle and see if both latches snap open at the same time.  The latches should flip open when the handle is a little over the 3/4 of the way open.  Close the door and see if you like it.  Just leave a window open or have someone inside just incase it doesn't work.  The door doesn't have to be totally reassembled for the test.

Take the old filters , cut them open and check for alge. Hold filter paper up to the sun to see if you see anything through the filter media. In mine I detected alge. So I ggot some treatment for it. I carry 2 filter. Because if you do get alge you can clog the new one up you get it under control.  

Have you changed your fuel filter lately. Thats what mine did. I always carry an extra filter.
