  1. I know I’m for the most part just repeating a few things…. Brake parts…easy to source as long as you know where to start. The aftermarket works has a ton of info….especially if you have a serial number for the axle and go to the manufacturer for an initial identification such as Dana / Meritor Overall parts……this place is the best place to start. This forum has a wealth of knowledge better then most RV techs. One thing I have learned….get eyes on every part and system of your coach whether it works well or not. Understand how it works, if possible, and will make it easier. We bought ours back last December and still have a ton to go through and fix…some minor…some a bit major. Out of the gate we had a substantial issue with our one piece windshield that was taken out by the dealer…..what a disaster but now fixed after 6 months. Sucks to say but either learn it and attempt to repair, or have deep pockets……and a lot of patience either way.
  2. Hello all and your wealth of information. I have an active alarm on the dash buzzer (no warning lights). Apparently Monaco / Holiday Rambler used a catch all buzzer by Enertech which was designed strictly for Monaco and they are no help. The buzzer is tripped for many systems such as ABS, low air, trans, engine, and a few others. All of the warning lights work but I have no light on with this constant buzzer. REV gave a little bit of info but I really need electrical schematics for an 05 Imperial 42PBQ if anyone has them. I have seen some posts for other models and years but hoping someone has specific to my coach. Anyone have a complete set of prints? Essentially I need to start isolating.
  3. I just replaced my headlight switch for the very same thing. It’s a cole hersee 71902. Not sure if it helps.
  4. Have had nothing but problems with our Inteliride / Firestone air leveling system. After tons of research and frustration we have decided to abandon it due to antiquated parts, obsolete parts, and limited availability of support. We were stuck in the low position and had to make provisions to now get to proper travel height. We have had discussions with HWH (not very helpful). We are starting to look into a Valid system but much “red tape” to get through as they want a “Roadmaster Approval” for their system. After a few talks this hasn’t gotten any substance and feel like we are spinning our wheels…lol Has anyone replaced their system with something else? This is on our 05 Holiday Rambler Imperial.
  5. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. Thank you
  6. Hi to all, This forum has been tremendous and we definitely have the best coaches out there. Only problem is we have had technology advancements leaving us in the dust or obsolete entirely. Anyway, im looking for the tag axle pressure setting. While Im fully aware that I need to weigh, does anyone have a clue what it was factory? I just need a starting / beginning point to a 124mi trip to the nearest Certified / reliable scales. I’m looking for fellow 05 Imperial owners specifically as I have not found info specific to my coach when searching here. Lastly, has anyone eliminated the Firestone / Inteli Ride and found a suitable replacement?
  7. Thank you! That is for sure…could have two identical coaches going down the line at the same time with different results. Definitely food for thought.
  8. This is a great topic and I’m interested for sure. All relevant info so thanks to all. Curious though, has anyone actually seen / measured the fuel pick up tube (engine) to see what the actual depth is in the tank?
  9. Thanks everyone… I did the inevitable…cut the PEX line and just installed valves with hoses. Thanks again to all
  10. I appreciate the insight. I know the bonnet or cones you are referencing and these are a bit different. It looks like a much smaller version of the picture.
  11. I appreciate the heads up. Unfortunately, I may have to go down that same road.
  12. Hey gang, Looming for some advice on parts identification. We pulled our Splendide washer out of our HR for some work. Trying to reinstall it and looking for new washers for the couplers / fittings that connect to our inlet valves. They appear to be what I would loosely call a shoulder washer / flange washer that I have seen on plumbing drains in the past. However these are obviously for the hot and cold water supplies. I have attached a couple pictures of our hard plumbed couplings put on at the factory when originally built (I assume) that the washers are for. Locating new washers would be a lot better than cutting out and using new fittings / hoses. Ive tried the local places, Splendide, and HR / Rev direct with no luck. The coach is new to us and needs a little TLC but we love it so far. I’m new to this particular forum and so far very excited about the wealth of info. I’m not new to RVing though. Thought someone here could help. Thanks for any info. 2005 Holiday Rambler Imperial 42PBQ Also…I would post a pic of the sealing washer itself itself but was pretty much destroyed in the process and only have fragments.
