  1. I had a similar issue. When I step on the throttle/foot pedal, It would not hardly respond until I got moving a little and then whamo, it takes off. I see yours wont respond properly until you get more speed. Not sure if its the same issue but mine was my throttle,,, its a Throttle Position Sensor fault,,,TPS. The footfeed is electronic,, I replaced it and all is well. Best of luck.
  2. I have had my headlights stay on such as yours. Do you have the smartwheel? If so, do you have a fuse box in front of the drivers front tire? If so, you will have a Modular Smartwheel Master Controller. Look closely at the J12 plug,,, mine was burnt from heat. I unplugged it, my lights went out. I have since bought a harness to fix the burnt plug but haven't installed it yet. Everything works except my headlights for night driving. My daytime headlights still go on when starting the engine. At PDX RV LLC,, you can purchase a " VIP SM209 & SM210 Smartwheel Controller J12 plug/harness. $39.00
  3. mine was warped bad and blew out the gaskets. I had it removed and machined flat a few years ago and has worked good since. good luck
  4. It was the wiring on the battery. i had changed my chassis batteries in Az. ,, drove here and then the problem started with no start. The cables going to my batteries neg terminal, seemed tight but not tight enough and also, not cleaned properly when changed. I could have prevented the problem entirely if I had slowed down and changed my batteries properly, by cleaning the pos and neg wiring before installation. Thank you everyone for your replies. This place is a library of info,,, thanks. Regards, Greg Coffey 2005 Monaco Dynasty Diamond IV. Towing a honda Ridgeline

  6. I have a 2005 Monaco Dynasty. I have been in it for the last 6 months and just returned to Canada. Took it to the RV Repair shop for aquahot warranty work. The motorhome sat for 2 days and when the shop guys went to start it,,, it would not even turn over, ,, all the dash lights worked except for the indicator on the transmission shifter. Also, the chassis batteries are 2 weeks old. Thanks to all for your responses and ideas. Much appreciated.
