My 06 HR Scepter 42 came with 295/80R-22.5 Goodyear G70 tires. Due to the weight on my front axle I have replaced the steer and tag axle tires with 315/80R-22.5 Michelins (which Acuride Wheels says are acceptable for use on my rims and were $50 cheaper apiece). The reason for doing the tag as well is to have a spare for the steer axle if an emergency arises and no 315 is a available. That being said, the most common and least expensive tire replacement is the class 8 trucking industry standard 11R-22.5, which is the SAE equivalent of the 295/80R-22.5 (a P-Metric size listing). The tire diameter is the same for each. So, my current drive axle tires are 11R-22.5 Dunlop all position tires. They have not affected my speedometer accuracy, which 295/75-22.5s will likely do in your application due to different tire diameters.
Great post Ron. Spot on!!

Doug
The sales brochures state that the Engines were Standard for that year.
Monacocoach.com and

The Navigator, Executive and Signature share the same Roadmaster chassis.
They all had the ISM as the standard Engine in 2006.

Yep. And you can cut a slot in the end of the Studs for a screw driver to inset , remove too.
Turn down Allen head bolt heads to make studs too. IF you have the room.
-
Ivan; "It helps big time to temporarily replace a couple of bolts with studs so the manifold slides out and into its place easily."
Put a coat of a penetrating agent on those threads will help too. Might be able to use air and blow residue out before inserting the bolts used for the manifold installation.

Try a penetrating agent of 50% ATF and 50% acetone. Best one I have ever used with excellent results.

Replace all the intake pleated duct with aluminum tubing and use rubber fittings like truckers have.
Gets rid of air friction . Great simple improvement.
Buy stuff from https://www.intakehoses.com/
Now the engine can breath. The engine air cleaner should be addressed too.
-
Doug; You have a perfect Weight/Horsepower ratio Coach. The ISM or Detroit DD60 are 2 of the best.
A few simple changes to the intake and exhaust components will make a significant improvement to the performance and fuel consumption.

Some folks have had success using eternabond tape on the roof, under the foot of the panel mounting bracket, another layer on top of the foot. Do a bench test. You will be amazed. Make the foot as large , or size/shape you want .

https://www.strombergcarlson.com/product-category/rv-ladders/ Provided many ladders for coaches to the Monaco brands.
They may be using a newer kind/type fastener. May be worth a call.

When ppl post a problem /about/with a CB, circuit board, as the primary suspect , simply post a picture of YOUR FRB, Front Run Bay, and YOUR RRB, Rear Run Bay. That may could/ should help to reduce the confusion.
Coach information in your signature area sure does help too.
