WBDave54
On recent journey thought I lost cold dash a/c. Turned to vent upper and lower and had cold air. 2004 Windsor. Tried several settings but only cold on vent so left it there. Looks like late 70s to 80s GM controls. Any help appreciated.
David Pratt
It appears that your Vacuum Generator has failed. The Dash AC will default to the defroster heat mode if there is no Vacuum present. The Vacuum generator in your coach can be either electric or air operated. If it is electric it will be located on the passenger side firewall. There may be a round black accumulator mounted above the Vacuum Generator, follow the vacuum lines from the accumulator to the Vac Gen. There is also a picture and vendor listed in our parts list to help you. Hopefully a member who owns a 2004 Windsor will chime in and help.
