Military RVer
I am looking for any knowledge on how to remove the fiberglass roof so that I can repair and replace the wood underneath.
throgmartin
Jon: This is a major undertaking and would require a shop that specializes in this work. Fiberglass ( and metal ) roofs are attached along the beltlines and at the front and rear caps. Think of it as a lid on a container. How big is the area that is damaged ?
Military RVer
Chris, Sorry for the late reply, but I believe it is the entire roof area. As I walk along both sides, it is soft and very forgiving, I know on a roof that this tells me the wood underneath is bad and needs replacement so I am using the same logic here.
