Status Updates Removed

Hello Monacoers,

Based on recent experience, we have removed the “Status Updates” feature of the site. Most members have never used it, but the few who did apparently did not realize these conversations were public and can be viewed by anyone.  Nothing dramatic happened, but people were sharing private conversations without realizing it using this feature.

The best way to communicate, privately, with another member or group of members is to utilize the inbox messaging function of the site. Those conversations can not be viewed by anyone, even the Moderators.
