  1. I would appreciate if anyone with a 2008 Monaco Camelot 42PDQ would send me the measurements of a bay door.
  2. Does anyone know if the bin / basement doors on a 2007 and 2008 Monaco Camelot 42PDQ are the same size. I know the handles are chrome on a 2008 and painted on a 2007, but not aware if there are any other differences. I need to replace at least one bin door on my 2007 and have found doors off a 2008 for a relatively reasonable price.
  3. Any recommendations on where to purchase 1-2 basement/bin doors for Monaco Camelot 42pdq motorhome. A tree jumped out and bit me.
  4. Thanks for all the comments. They were all helpful in troubleshooting the problem. I have fixed the problem. The issue that caused me problems was that when I installed the new AC and conversion board so I could use my 5 button thermostat there were 2 blue wires coming from the AC board. Inside in my AC area there were also 2 blue wires which I connected them to. Seemed reasonable, but not correct. There was also a green and a brown wire that I did not use. It turns out the blue interior wires are not needed (I think they may have been for a furnace and not an AquaHot). The brown and green wires were actually the wires to the AquaHot. When I connected the blue wires from the AC board to the green and brown wires everything worked as it should. Once again, thanks for all the comments. This site is amazing as it seems there is hardly any problem that someone out there does not have a solution for.
  5. I purchased a 3/4 inch D shaped rubber strip from McMaster that worked just fine. Didn't want the foam type out of concern for how it would hold up to the heat.
  6. I have a 2007 Monaco Camelot 42PDQ. Last year the front AC (zone 1) quit and I replaced it with a Dometic Penguin 2. To get the Penguin 2 to communicate with my CCC 5 button thermostat I installed a Power Module Board Conversion Kit. The only "on" dip switch on the board is for the furnace. I have spoken with Dometic and confirmed I have the correct conversion kit for the AC I have. After installing the AC and conversion kit all of the zones and all of the thermostat settings work with the exception that the furnace setting on Zone 1 does not work (It was working on the old unit before the AC quit. The furnace setting on zone 3 (rear) works. As a result I cannot get the front furnaces to operate. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I have had several calls with Dometic with no success on this problem.
  7. I was not successful searching the Southco website. I found when doing a lot of searching on Amazon and Ebay that the arm length of the latch on my motorhome is much longer than most advertised. The arm length needs to be 67mm. I found it best to simply search for latches that looked like mine and had the same dimensions as mine. Most did not. Pretty much all of the latches have dimensions so you can compare. I only found one company that made on that seemed like it would fit. Of course it was made in China and I will likely have to wait a month or more to get it.
  8. I have a 2007 Monaco Camelot 42PDQ. There are 2 engine access hatches in the rear bedroom and closet. 2 of the latches on the ones I have are broken. I haven't had any luck finding replacements. Any assistance would be appreciated.
  9. Thanks for all the information. I spoke with Steel Rubber Products and they did not think they had anything they had would withstand the heat. Found something at McMaster that seems like it will work.
  10. I have a 2007 Monaco Camelot 42PDQ. In the rear bedroom and closet are hatches that allow access to the engine area. There are seals under the hatches that are somewhat like the seals around a car door. Because of the heat generated by the engine both seals are hard and do not seal well. Any suggestions on where I can get replacement seals or material to make the seals out of would be greatly appreciated. I am reluctant to simply get seal material from a hardware or auto parts store as I question if it would hold up under the intense heat above the engine.
  11. Can anyone tell me where I can get the pressure switch and what I should order?
  12. I have had that problem a couple of time and each time I replaced the breaker and solved the problem. Breakers can get weak over time and not carry the load they were designed for.
  13. Mine is a 90 degree hose. It comes off the inlet to the turbocharger.
  14. Did it stand up well to the high temperatures and did you have any concerns with the restriction in the cobra head?
  15. Mine is the same. Do you recall the inside diameter of the top hose. It is difficult to measure and is somewhere between 4 and 5 inches.
  16. I need to replace the air intake hose between the air cleaner and turbocharger on my 2007 Monaco Camelot. It has the Cummins ISL 400 engine. Any information or advice would be appreciated.
  17. No need if someone else is doing it. Also, not sure yet if I can make it.
  18. Is anyone organizing a Monaco group get together in Quartzsite early next year? I haven't gone for a few years and was hoping someone was organizing it for next year.
  19. I have a replacement cord if you are interested. You can text me at 936-697-6159.
  20. I had a problem with my compressor coming on often and found that the check valve coming off the compressor had not been installed. Air was leaking off through the compressor. Installed a check valve and problem was solved.
  21. I had a similar problem a few years back and it turned out to be a dead spotad in the cord reel. If I turned the reel slightly sometimes it would work.
  22. They are legitimate. The company my son works for allows them to take home any parts removed as they will only install new parts they have bought. These are perfectly good and would have been thrown away. I have tested all of them. If you give me your zip code I can let you know what shipping costs will be. I am a little offended that someone would infer that I would be selling something illegitimate. There is nothing in this for me. I am only trying to help my son out and give forum members the chance to purchase something they might need at a good price.
  23. The price is $30 plus shipping which should be less than $20 depending on where you want it shipped.
  24. Not sure. Best thing to do is get the brand and model from your existing pump. The Shurflo fits my 2007 Camelot.
