  1. I'm the OP. Here is what I found. in search of a touch-up solution. The BASF web site that offered locations of body shops didn't pan out. Both shops said they only sell paint they put on themselves. They don't mix paint to sell. At the suggestion of GRAMPY OG, (thank you very much) I called the Shermin Williliams Auto Paint store. At first he said, we can't match BASF paint codes. But then asked for the codes anyway. A few minutes later he came back on the phone and said,, "looks like you bought a Monaco." This morning I picked up the 3 small (2.5 oz) touch up bottles for about $17 each. I'll go to work on it this coming weekend and report back on how well they match.
  2. jacwjames & bill4029, thanks for the link. This is the info I was looking for. A body shop in Speedway Indiana is on the BASF list and I'll give them a call. A few years ago, with the VIN, Monaco emailed a .pdf of the BASF paint codes. (along with the owners manual, window sticker, and a few other documents, wiring diagram was not available) I attached that .pdf, it might help anyone searching for the doc. paint scheme.pdf
  3. Anybody have a source for touch-up paint? I have the paint codes from my '05 Dip.
  4. I have the exact same issue on my '05 Dip Carefree Awning. A few years ago the motor had to be replaced, but the problem existed both prior and after the new motor install. Acts like low voltage but I've never tried to trouble shoot it, If it is low voltage I wouldn't know how to fix it anyway. Bill
  5. I had a Verizon Mifi but don't now. The 25 gig limitation was problematic for us... 2 cell phones, 2 laptops, 1 tablet for maps, a Google Home Mini, and streamed an occasional movie thru a Roku device. With 4 grown kids and 2 grandkids, FaceTime is important. We soon reached that 25 gig limit each month. When the speed was throttled back, to us, it was like the service was switched off. I switched to Visible. Very good coverage, similar to Verizon. Free phone and flat fee of $40 a month. Unlimited service with a limited bandwidth. I can't remember the bandwidth speed, but it has never been limiting to our usage. The free Visible phone is dedicated to internet service, not used for voice or texting. (Just like the Mifi) I tether the Visible phone via USB to a small router which broadcasts WiFi for all the devices, including guests. The biggest drawback is Visible has no stores. It's all handled on line and customer support has been hard to reach by calling or email. You have to have a good tech person to set things up - you are basically on your own.
  6. If you are heading to Goshen, please bring me a tankful.
  7. The steps on my 05 Dip DST started acting wonky. Tapping the control module with a hammer would persuade the steps to behave for a few days. Eventually even that solution quit working. I ordered this control module, replaced it myself, and have had not problems since. https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories_and_Parts/Lippert_Components/LC301702.html
