  1. Bob Nodine has the battery charging and inverting down right. I haven't followed too much lately. On my 05 Endeavor the inverter supply does go through the battery cut-off and as someone said, depends on your coach and who did the wiring that day.
  2. Loren, Not sure what model coach you have. In 2005 both the Scepter, side radiator and the Endeavor, rear radiator has the ISL 400. On the rear radiator units you can install the Horton two speed fan. Source Engineering in Oregon also has a higher efficiency fan. If you have the side radiator than it has a hydraulic driven fan. I don't think you mean 1000 hp. electric fan, I assume you miss typed that. When considering power, the only source of power on the unit is the engine. Therefore, the alternator has to supply the power to the electric fan for any extended period of time. Yes, the battery can give a quick boost but that must be replenished.
  3. Dale N. On your 03 Neptune the generator starts from the house batteries. When you start the engine after the engine batteries reach about 13.1 the Intellitec interconnect relay delay devide (IRD) closes the interconnect relay and the house batteries will receive power for charging. If you house batteries are discharged too low the inverter/charger will not charge them. It has a built-in safety. You will need to use an external charger to get them back to a "safe" state. If any cells are bad then you should replace the entire bank of batteries as the bad cells will draw down the other cells. Also make sure your inverter/charger is set to charge.
  4. Veurink's has a large selection of parts for Monaco and other brand coaches. Several have found hard to find parts here https://shop.findmyrvparts.com/
  5. When you have the unit connected to shore power the inverter/charger is charging the house batteries on a 2006 Dip and the Amp-L-Start will charge the chassis batteries from the house. When you start the engine the engine alternator charges the chassis batteries and the house batteries are connected to the chassis by the interconnect relay (Trombetta OEM). Which is controlled by the Intellitec interconnect relay delay control device. Thus the Amp-L-Start is no longer in play for protection. Because the two battery banks are now hard wired together the alt fail light will be activated if the inverter/charger is doing a high voltage charge. This is quite common and generally not a concern. If you have Alt Fail under different conditions then other items need to be looked at.
  6. You can receive a summary of the posts to the site by following topics and setting the follow frequency to daily. That is how I have mine set. Today I got 2 emails with several posts. By clicking on the post title. This takes you to the website to view the post. This can make a convenient method of reviewing the posts of others on topics you have an interest in. If you want to reply as I am doing here, click on the topic title read and reply. This is very similar to the old Yahoo system except you can select what you want to follow and reduce the number of emails.
  7. Frank, I have been doing a little test drive and did see the files. I also learned I could edit a previous post to correct some spelling errors. You are most likely correct the site is still not public. Getting a little anxious 😁😁 Looking at the Forum topics; I am thinking of maybe one for Travel Tips, Routing, and Locations
  8. I was doing some playing around today. Quiet dayπŸ˜€ I tried to find this forum at Invision Community. No results. Is it not available to others. ? Is it still not public? What will we provide to members to find it? I signed into Invision Community with my Gmail to be a "member" not moderator. A little spelling correction I was doing some playing around today. Quiet day
  9. Haha πŸ˜„πŸ˜‚ Tubes are my era. I worked at Westinghouse and we were replacing tubes with solid state devices for aircraft. 1960
  10. I think it's a 1 1/2 din. I am just putting something on to get the feel using smartphone.
  11. Does anyone know of a good replacement for the dash radio
  12. Bill, I am just seeing what a reply looks like. I going to start a fire stormπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I don't like Li-ons they are way too expensive for the application πŸ€’
