  1. Hello group. Essex keypad quit working today. When I went to lock it. it beeped when i pushed the numbers but did not lock. I also noticed it did not light up when I push the number. I replaced it a few years ago and it's always worked great. Check fuses in FRB and they seem fine?
  2. I just replaced the floor not too long ago. And some of the roller nuts were loose and out of adjustment. I think something may have loosened upOn the x bracing adjustment. I am going to take the molding off for a closer look.
  3. Yes when I look around the back of the slide interior it is definitely the X slide type mechanism. Just very hard to see it. I guess I will have to remove Moldings. I have done the Air purge and cycling quite a few times I do not think that is the issue. I think something is keeping it from going all the way out like an adjustment or a Obstruction. I do not think it is hydraulic at this point?
  4. I noticed the slack on the slide topper on one side. That's how I realized it wasn't fully extended. I also always hold the button-down a couple seconds longer to make sure it is all the way out. I will check the fluid. Does not seem to act like there is air in the lines..
  5. I am pretty sure it is hydraulic. I have the hydraulic cylinders under the entry step
  6. 05 Navigator. Passenger side living room slide. Seems to be about one and a 1/2 inches further out on 1 side than the other? Not sure how to adjust this. I don't think it has anything to do with the rollers underneath?
  7. Thank you, hex nut. Now I understand what the bolt does from your picture. Looks like the head of the bolt that holds the nut from spinning. There is one on each side. I would think I could replace it and be fine. But I will take it by hitching post and see what they say.
  8. There is a blue ox dealer right down the road from me. The hitching post, Ocala Florida. I will run it by them, when I have time to see what they say. I will report back. Not sure how old it is it came with the coach which is a 2005?

  10. In picture 1 and 2 right next to the label that says 10,000 pounds you'll see a round hole. That is Where's something sheered off. Picture 3 is the side with the bolt head.
  11. On my way home from a 2000 mile trip. Stop at the rest stop At the Florida line. Did my walk around and found the head of this bolt sheared off. Was only a 100 miles from home. Did not want to take any chances so I unhooked the toad and had the DW drive it home. Not sure how these things are constructed. Thought I would ask here for some advice before I before I start to take it apart. As always thanks for your help.
  12. Thank you, me and a buddy. Took us two weeks. Worked a few hours a day at it. It is called engineered wood flooring. I bought it out of local Flooring store. It has tongue and groove and you glue it down.
  13. Got the living room and kitchen floor finished. Very happy with the way it came out. Had to leave for a trip do I would not have time to do the bedroom. Going to do that in a couple months. Thanks for everyone's tips😊
  14. Thanks everyone. I put insulation board along the back wall and and block the hole in the ceiling.
  15. Well I finally have all of my tile and carpet removed. 05 Navigator. Getting ready to start putting the wood down.. Was wondering if anyone has ever laid it on a 45 diagonal? If so are you happy with it? Also looking for some ideas for the steps, Maybe some accent lighting? Thanks for the ideas.
  16. Thank you guys for all the responses. That's exactly what I was thinking. Think I will remove the vent cover on the roof And put some sort of plate over the hole.
  17. Good morning. 05 Navigator with a residential fridge. I believe the coach originally came with an RV fridge since there is the vent door on the side of the coach and the vent in the roof. My question is. Since I have the fridge out while I'm redoing the floor should I Cover up these holes With a piece of insulation board? Or does the residential fridge produce some heat that needs to escape? Thanks
  18. Thank you chargerman. I'm going to try that tomorrow. I chiseled a couple tiles out today and it was hard to not tear up the underlayment, Do you mean you just broke it all up in a bunch of little pieces and then try to take it out?
  19. Will it just break out from under that dash or will I have to remove it?
  20. Going to replace my carpet and tile With wood. Trying to figure out how to remove the tile and install the new product under the dash area. Is there a way to Remove the dash on the tile by the entry way or lift it up? Also struggling to remove the old carpet under the passenger side slide. I attach some pictures of the 2 areas. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
  21. Thank you for the help. Got it working now. Switched the primary and secondary wires in the intellitec switch. So that was the problem. Will order a new control box for 80 dollars. Can do this myself, site saved me from a service call again😊
  22. OK thanks. Haven't crawled up on the roof yet.
  23. 05 Navigator, Bedroom AC Will come on and turn off after about 15 seconds. When I put it on fan mode it does the same thing fan will run for 15 seconds and then shut off. There is a system that will not let the bedroom AC run when I am operating the washing machine. It is acting like that may be the problem? There is an automatic energy select switch by intellitec behind the washing machine that clicks every time it turns on and off. Not sure if this is the problem but if it is figured I could bypass it somehow? Thanks for any suggestions.
  24. I was wrong. Now that I have it all hooked up the LED's are working with the flashers.
