  1. Thank you both I will check the relay and will follow up afterwards.
  2. The motor has two wires the switch on the passenger side has 3 terminals. Driver side appears to have six based on illustration. The front run bay
  3. I’m having issue with my passenger side visor going down the driver side works fine. The visor goes up, but when i press the down switch from the driver seat or passenger seat the visor wont retract. I changed the switch at the passengers seat but the visor still only works in up position. Should i be checking somewhere else?
  4. Doing a lot of research here is it possible the VIM has bad fuse or relay? I just read on another social platform that the VIM powers the ECU which would make sense right? Maybe why they cannot communicate with unit?
  5. You are correct, I knew that as well. I asked the technician if he tested from that location? He said he did. It makes no sense to me the TCM was sent out for testing they said it was faulty. It’s been replaced and I have the old one.
  6. Update the repair shop replaced the TCM but still unable to communicate with the RV to receive codes. They test drove the unit 3 times no issues with shifting. However I’m concerned that they still don’t know what caused the shifter to shutdown in the first place. I’m concerned it would happen again. I desperately seeking any other advice
  7. Check the rear house batteries compartment. On my Holliday Rambler the equalizing cylinder is mounted above the top rack.
  8. The shop overnight the TCM to Allison to run diagnostic. I will keep the group updated once I hear back from them. Does anyone know about issues with TCM years 2001 - 2005? The shop telling me that’s what Allison reported to them
  9. The wire runs from the battery disconnect switch to a fuse then to I assume to the VCM. The fuse holder (second from left) is crimped together with the first fuse holder again from the battery disconnect switch. Each second wire goes toward the engine area first fuse again I assume to the VCM, the second somewhere else. While using a 12 volt test light the second fuse from the left only lights up from one side with the fuse removed which is normal right? One side positive the other side ground? The first fuse holder while using a test light with fuse removed both sides are hot, pretty sure that’s not normal? This is the fuse I assume goes to the VCM. Even with the battery disconnect switch off there’s still 12volt constant on both sids of that first fuse holder, that can’t be right? Vito I asked them to trace that wire, check TCM and the shift pad ground wires. Hopefully it becomes a simple fix!
  10. I’m having issues with my transmission shifter. While driving my shifter pad shutdown then transmission goes into limb mode gear 1C. In the engine compartment there are 4 fuses on the frame. I attached the picture for reference. Once I’m able to pull safety pull the RV over and keeping the engine running, air brakes on my wife sits in chair. I go to the the engine compartment pull out the first fuse on left and the shifter pad comes back on and we continued on. This has happened twice! I have it in the shop for repairs after locating the TCM the technician indicated he was unable to communicate with the TCM. He believes that he detected a burnt smell. He also stated that back in 2001 - 2005 there were issues with TCM? He’s reluctant to order new TCM at this point without full diagnosis but can’t pull codes. Again this is for 2004 Holiday Rambler Navigator. I would appreciate feedback. Thank you all
  11. Thank you Vito.a they located it in the main basement compartment just as you said.
  12. I’m having trouble locating the TCM on my 2004 Holiday Rambler Navigator any idea?
  13. Thank you David, I asked the service technician whether both should be replaced and of course he said no. I will be purchasing more solenoid and putting them on myself its appears to be pretty straight forward. Thank you so much for your input.
  14. I hold the switch down for no more than 10 seconds each time the pump runs, then by the 4th or 6th attempt it comes in no delay.
  15. Sadly I spoke to soon the slide out will not retract back in normally. They put this solenoid on the slide extended no problem but again took me several attempts holding the switch to get it back in. Could someone give me direction what to check next
  16. Update on my slide situation. After a long wait to get the Coach serviced and waiting for the part David you were 100% correct Hydraulic Reservoir located underneath entry step. The Solenoid for the driver side front slide was replaced and everything back working. Thank you all for responding to my question on June 9th. The part number# RAP42632 I intend on buying a few to keep on hand and if necessary will replace them myself in the future.
  17. Thank you all for responding, will attempt suggestions and will update everyone.
  18. The tone was good before and while the slide finally moved. It moved smoothly. The end of season last year I changed and replaced the hydraulic filter and fluid, inside the rear aluminum tank engine compartment? Is that where the slides draw fluid from or just from the hydraulic pump and tank in generator slide out in front of the Coach?
  19. I will check the solenoid as you suggest, but if fine what would be the next process of elimination? I failed to state this is for 2004 Holiday Rambler Navigator.
  20. This morning getting ready to venture out my driver side front slide would not retract in. The hydraulic pump has good tone and the other three slides worked perfectly fine. Finally while depressing the switch for about 15 seconds the slide retracted in. I also notice a delay extending the slide the other day. Perhaps a hydraulic leak somewhere or something else?
  21. I agree with the group, appears to be some sort of temp sensor.
