  1. Where might I find (rent) these “tall” 22 ton jacks. Can someone send a poc of one of these tall jacks? How much height do you get out if these jacks?
  2. Thank you Dan D. BTW, I have a friend who I served with when I was in Air Force Special Tactics. You aren’t him are you? He’s a Navy Seal and always went by Dan D. Wouldn’t that be a hoot!
  3. Tom, Thanks for your advise. I have the full wiring diagram “booklet” and have learned several things, but still have a long ways to go. A lot of it looks Greek to me. Scratch that, I can read and speak Greek, and Hebrew a little. It looks like the Thailand language spelled out. I think I’m going to take a basic electrical course. It can’t hurt.
  4. OK, I STILL cannot identify the “inline” 30 amp fuse for my Kwikee steps. Could someone send me a picture and location of where yours is? I have a 2003 Signature Centurion if that helps. I have searched in my engine bay fuse box, my front street side fuse bay, my fuse panel in my bedroom, the small fuse box in my closet, my battery bay and under and around the steps themselves If I knew what I was looking for, it might help. I only know what the blade fuses you push in look like. Not sure what an “inline” fuse looks like or what it’s “housed” in for protection. Thanks for helping. Keith
  5. I just wanted to take this opportunity th say THANKS to the Administrators and Moderators or Monacoers. It has taught me so much and I have merely scratched the surface. I still have so much to learn but its obvious, you guys have forgotten more than I will ever know!!
  6. Thank you Tom. Electric issues or potential electrical issues is probably my biggest weakness. I can hand saw steps off if they are stuck (wouldnt do it, but I could) but this 6 batteries in total (house in parallel), inverter/charger, Shore power, Gen power, fuses, “hidden” fuses can drive an old man crazy. You know, I did 21 years in Air Force Special Tactics units (Special Operations) and lived through it, but the electrical stuffs going to drive me crazy. When I get one answer, I produces 3 more questions. Live and learn!
  7. I know this is a very stupid question. I searched and didn't find a thread, so here goes! 1. When the Inverter manual speaks of charging batteries, is it talking about the hiuse batteries or the chassis batteries? 2. Which batteries should I put the Battery Temperature Sensor, chassis or house? when I got my coach it was just lying on the bottom of the battery compartment not attached to either house or chassis batteries. 3. When I use the battery cut iff switches to cut power to both chassis and house batteries, will that automatically shut down the inverter/charger?
  8. Has anyone done or thought of changing your mirrors out for “dog ear” mirrors? If so, how are they?
  9. Lippert has a online course that will help you with what steps you have. If you can find the serial number on the underside take the 3rd & 4th number. That is your Step Series model. Take the courses offered by Lippert, they are really good. I learned a lot about the steps course.
  10. Thanks for your help Ivan Great advise Jim. Thanks! I’ll get on it
  11. I will look tomorrow. A picture would be great. I’ll take a pic or two tomorrow and ask you about them. A little history, we bought the coach initially for my wife to live on the fam camps on the Air Force bases she was stationed. I had to be medically discharged due to finding the business end of 3 AK-47 rounds. My daughter made TEAM USA Gymnastics Team and I moved to CA with her so she could train. I didnt want my wife living off base aline. Thus we bought the coach. we never got any type of education on the coach. I don’t think the salesman even knew what everything could do. Now we ar both retired and Im trying to learn all this stuff Sorry, I just sent a message I meant to send last night. Is this it
  12. Where are these buttons I hold simultaneously located? in the coach near the drivers seat or above my head in overhead compartment or ?
