I am trying to locate information about the door hinges and attachment. The noise usually happens at the closing last 2 inches of movement and you can feel the vibration when you hear the thump. This is a very good item to check. That is the reason I quit bending the door keeper like many do. It would bang in the door frame and drive me crazy.
