Texomaman73 Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 I have a 2000 Monaco Executive 42.5 with the single slide out on drivers side which has the kitchen and a couch. The couch has been removed and I am planning on putting a televator in that spot. My question is the slide out floor has a 2 to 3 ft jut out from the counter depth and the slide wall behind the driver. The best I can tell is that the slide floor that juts out should be able to be cut off and make the floor flush across the front. This would give a much more finished look to the coach and also prevent walking into the floor sticking out. Plan is to move the aqua hot floor register back flush with cabinet also. Has anyone messed with the floor on the slide out? What is the construction make up of the slide out floor? Am I missing anything? Thanks in advance for any help.
jacwjames Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 I would check to see where the location of the roller support is on the front of the slide. My slide probably has 3 rollers, 2 are accessible from under the kitchen cabinet false floors. The front one is accessible via a cover in the wheel well. You might be able to measure to confirm location by comparing the 2 under the cabinet with the outside slide wall and from underneath in the wheel well.

I actually hope that is the case, as my kitchen cabinets are the same depth as the spot where I plan on putting the televator minus the 7inch jut out. I will check under the false floors under the sink and stove area and see. Thanks for the advice.
