Conditions along I-90 from WA to Sioux Falls

I am planning on traveling from Sedro-Woolley, WA to Sioux Falls next week. Has anyone traveled that route lately? I would appreciate any comments that might allow me to compare the route I took a few weeks ago on I- 84.

Be careful of the Hy 18 and I 90 going east is not too bad, real mess at interchange. Rest not bad, with no fires.

It's an easy drive, very boring going across eastern WA. Couple of passes in ID that reduce your speed a little but not bad. Certainly nothing that warrants diverting to 84. Enjoy

The right lane, (lane1) from Cle Elum to Ellensburg can be rough because when they pinned the concrete sections to keep them from moving, they did not grind them smooth so you might see traffic trying to stay out of lane 1 and driving in lane 2 when they can.  The distance is about 25 miles.  Cars, pickups and suv's won't notice it as much as you will in Class A.  Have a good trip.

Sturgis rally is next Friday so expect traffic near there.

There’s some construction in South Dakota on I-90 that puts you on a single lane with oncoming traffic, a couple of the cross overs are kinda wonky! Expect hot weather too! And yes, lots of motorcycles and high prices a 100 miles each side of Sturgis.
