Mick Adair Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 I have just bought a 2003 Windsor 34RST and was transferring stuff from my old rig to this one. When I tried to store my stinky slinky it would only go a little ways in. When I looked under the rig, I saw that the lower shock bracket would eat into that tube when the suspension moved. All the links and bushings look fine but I don't see Monaco designing something like this. Anybody else have this issue? And yes, the shock is leaking, soon to be replaced.
vito.a Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 Patch or replace the tube. They're just PVC. Then prevent the tube from moving. Maybe place some foam between it and the bracket and zip tie it with heavy duty ties.
Mick Adair Posted April 13, 2024 Author Posted April 13, 2024 (edited) That's just it - the tube is fastened tight, the bracket is just too close to the pipe! When I replace all the shocks I am thinking about cutting off that second mount hole on the bracket and repairing the pipe. Edited April 13, 2024 by Mick Adair
