  1. Which sealant should be used for this particular location? I think Tom Cherry told us the different uses for the different types of surfaces or vertical or horizontal uses. I thought that I had made a copy but it is not in my binder. I don't follow this as much as I used to but quickly peruse most actually a few of the daily messages. Denny Wagaman 2011 Camelot DFT 43
  2. key pad to the door would not work. no noise/response. did gain access through a window. unlocked door. turned key and nothing no dash lights etc. did the battery boost got the engine started. the steps wouldn't retract. took the MH to Les Schwabs had all the batteries checked. all good. battery posts clean too. steps would not retract. I had moved taken MH out for refueling the day before. I have 30 amp hook up in the heated to 60 degrees garage the day before. I don't know if I had turned off the charge on the magnum for whatever reason when I took it to be refueled the day before, I don't know if it was on or off today. I never ever touch it but who knows. I did leave the bay lights on all night be being connected to 30 amp in the garage it stay charged. Question? 1. what could cause the no starting issue? Question? 2. why is the step still not retracting? It has been working without fail until the engine no start problem arose. Denny Wagaman 2011 Camelot DFT 43 Thanks!
  3. It has been 6 years 4 months since I last purchased Michelins for my 2011 Camelot DFT 43. Time to replace them. I have not closely followed the conversations regarding tires. I replace my other six tires in 2016 with Bridgetones and had no problems. Has there been any new revelations regarding Tires and problems with Bridgestone and or Michelins? Thanks, Denny
  4. I asked the question about Tires. Please add to the Toyo's to my question about there being any thing new. Thank You, Denny Wagaman2011 Monaco Camelot DFT 43

  6. I have put 2 heaters in the basement, light in the water bay. AH on and 70 degree heat why not. If inside a garage and you can’t run AH use ceramic heaters but I run heavy extension cords to outside power outlets.
  7. Stay the course! Do not alter what has worked well so far and monitor each day rather each hour and or minute as needed. There will come a time for me to move (as they say) assets. However No one knows the time the day or the hour that it won’t matter.
  8. Study the course for me. Now is not the time for me to knee jerk and get caught up in all the hoopla and do something that is any different that what I always have done. Regarding buying a new RV or keeping what I have: No one can really tell you what to do regarding to purchase a MH. You know your finances. If you can’t make a decision on what to do then do nothing. I am on my 4th MH. After my second I should have purchased a used Prevost or Newell. However what we have now we absolutely love. 1 and a half baths, full wall slide, residential fridg, fireplace.... it’s just right for us. ....plus at my age I don’t know how much longer I have to drive. I feel great today! But I know all too well how quickly that can change. My wife says (god bless her) if you see one that you want buy it. Oh well eventually this will change too😂
  9. I agree that it is time to choose a different location. One that is more central in the USA. how about Kerrville Texas? A great place to stay. maybe I am in the minority but the discount really means little to nothing for me. Don’t get me wrong it’s nice but it doesn’t sell me on whether or not to go. Consider the cost of fuel overnights costs to get there I would go no matter if I received a discount or not at the destination. We need to add some fresh new topics along with some/few “old” ones too. its time for a change all around, Location, topics, and maybe more members would attend. I think you guys are shortchanging us on the west coast. For me it’s not the distance it’s doing the same ole same ole. I mean no disrespect to our owners etc etc. but I am always looking for a new place to go to. MY first wife and I say (when RVing) “been there done that”. i belong to a local EV club. Many want to go back each year to the same old places that we have been going to for many years. boring. i have only attended one “gathering”. But have been in nearby states when the gathering has been held in years after. In my line of business The yearly gathering was held 1 yr on the west coast the next year on the east coast. Maybe repeating the same location in five or more years but never the same place year after year. there should be more that the agenda to entice members to come and get together. How about Palm Springs, CA or like I said Kerrville Texas, . ‘Ya know there is more to the US than Florida.... (just kidding....well sorta kinda). topics to add suggestions. 1. how to sell your Monaco/get It ready To sell what sell MH is it price and condition? 2. how to buy (wheel and deal) a new or newer rig . Told by a sales person. 3. Do we really need a big diesel (what ever big means to you) . In comparison to a smaller one that has all the bells and whistles. 4. The future of RVing as it relates to traveling without reservations 5. does joining a travel group really give you more for your money... bring in reps from a RV travel Company to sell us on joining a 7 day 15 day or 30 day group traveling to wherever. Just my thoughts. denny Wagaman 2011 Camelot DFT 43’10” places to go for our next gathering. Or how about Las Vegas, Nevada. Now there’s a fun place to go for a few days! denny Wagaman 2011 Camelot DFT 43
