  1. I ordered a new tank from John Carrillo, the guy is super helpful. It should be here this week. My question is the hoses that run from the engine preheat coil on the aqua hot tank where do they connect into the engine cooling system? I haven't had a chance to trace them out.

Just in case anyone is wondering what is inside Old style Aqua Hot tank with domestic water on the outside see photos

  2. I replaced mine a couple of years ago with a Samsung french door frig and it is working fine. I removed the entry door to coach and removed  passenger seat. Then took doors off new frig. Old Norcold when out ok and new one went in OK. I had plenty of help lifting units. My coach is a 2001 Dynasty

  3. I have been Rving for over 35 Years and the the best product I have used is RV Digest-it by Unique. Non toxic, biodegradable, smells good, and only used 2 oz per tank. Never have to flush tanks, they don't recommend it because you want the bacteria to stay in the tank. When I dump black tank the only thing that comes out is brown water.

You should be able to find a part number on the make/model of the rim, from there you might have to call them to cross reference to get the dimensions to be able order the right balance master.

Silly question, does anyone know of a RV manufacturer who installs these as an option new.  Seems to me that would be when to get a set.  The next set of tires I get for my coach will probably be the last so at this point it may not make sense to invest in a set consider I'd need 4 of them assuming I would only need 1 on each rear side.

It takes one set (2 balancers) per axle, at a cost of about $200 per set

Mine were the original equipment , Duo-Therm Penguin Low Profile units very noisy especially when turning on and off. Very satisfied with these new Blizzard units. When fan is on automatic and on low speed  they are extremely quiet, noise level picks up as fan increases in speed, but I can still listen to TV with no problem.

  6. I agree with DR4Film It's always good to have a backup. When I am in Florida on cold mornings my Electric heater in my Aqua Hot will not keep the water up to temperature. and I would have to heat the Aqua hot with diesel. Since I don't pay for electric it is to my benefit to have the heatpump. And these new Blizzard heatpumps heat sufficiently at 30 to 35 degrees.

I did the work myself bought the new units and T-Stats from Camperpartsworld  on Ebay they were having a sale. They are located in KY. These units are a couple of inches taller but I am well satisfied with them much quieter and they don't bang turning off and on. Also my old units were 12500 btu and these are 15000 btu
